Would that be a silent de-verbal?

Actually, the generally accepted way to say it in most scientific communities is simply "derbal". (leaving out the v and one e)

It is spoken the same way Charles Barkley says the word "Terrible" which is "turble".

So if Charles Barkley were talking about our situation he would say something like:

"After the Tilmon's verbal, he pondered a derbal, and that would be turble."

...The More You Know...

Why all the doom and gloom about Tilmon now? I think Tilmon's best chance for immediate PT is at Illinois. He won't be contributing as much at a blue blood school. Also, if Tilmon really thought him and Goodwin were a package deal, then why would Tilmon not have waited to make his announcement until after Goodwin made his?

Some of you are really grasping at straws.

No, it's a troll.

Confirmed.

There is a reason these kids go to Lalumiere for higher education TO QUALIFY.

We all know East Saint Louis is not the best in preparing students for College (I was born there).

To say Tilmon will not get the grades to qualify attending LuLu is absurd- If he puts the work in No doubt he makes the grade. He seems smarter than the average Bear.

It was only a matter of time the garbage rumor from another board would find it's way here.

Okay, that made me laugh:thumb:

I'm not saying it will happen or is even likely, but wouldn't it be interesting if Illini basketball had a huge start to the season and another great recruit commit, and Goodwin flipped our way just before signing day? Probably would only happen if his AAU coach got picked up as an assistant for the Illini with an offer he couldn't refuse.

Signing day is before we ever play a game.

I still can't believe that Scruggs left both IU and XU w/o committing.

Wouldn't it be something if he took all 5 official visits? It wouldn't quite be unprecedented for a blue-chip recruit to do so, but it certainly isn't a common practice.

He's only scheduled to take 4 OV's now, the IU one was an UV. Word is that for the 5th, he was holding out for UK and or LVille. Also, my friend at MSU says Scruggs visit was canceled and not postponed, not sure if this isn't just semantics.
He will make the UI one.:)

Hey TC, just curious which schools are on both Scruggs and Wilkes lists other than Illinois?

Kejaun Clements class of '19 on loaded Fireu15 team. We haven't offered but I wouldn't be surprised if we do.
"Kejuan was just the third freshman ever to play on varsity (Jabari Parker and Marquis “Kezo” Brown the first two)."

Doesn't sound like we're on Justin Smith's radar at the moment, but as we saw this week, anything can happen until a kid actually commits.
Published on Aug 7, 2016- Justin Smith had a summer to remember. Off the bat in the video his AAU coach, Mike Irvin, whom has coached over 200 Division One college players and multiple NBA pros, said he has never seen a player progress like Smith did during this past AAU season.

Interesting we made the cut for Wilkes. No reason to get ahead of ourselves but anything can happen.
