So what makes Frazier a guaranteed pg? When we got DaMonte he was absolutely going to be a pg for us, even though he was more of a combo. Now that we're down the road a little while he has gone to being looked at as only a 2 with ball handling abilities. Even when we got JCL people fantasized for a while (even into his pre-freshman season summer) that he'd be a major player at pg, which, granted, was partly due to all the injuries. So why is Frazier looked at as our next pg, when I guess to me it seems like he's been just as potent offensively as DaMonte and JCL were/are, just maybe not as athletic?

Frazier isn't necessarily strictly a point guard, but he has "point guard" essentials--ball handling, passing, court vision, crazy quickness, excellent change of speeds off ball screens, and winner/leader mentality. But he can also play the 2. He's really what they call a lead-guard, but will most likely play both the 1 and 2. DMW's ceiling is probably at PG but yes he's more of a 2 with ball handling abilities who also will probably play both positions...It's looking like two of TJL/DMW/Frazier(God willing) will be on the floor together a decent amount.

Expect Illinois, SLU, NW, Mizzou and Butler

No MSU or Texas?
I expect MSU and Texas to be on there based solely on notoriety. Neither team is recruiting him hard, but you get more headlines with those schools still on the list.

"In no order", but definitely in order...
Illinois
NW
SLU
Mizzou
MSU
Texas
??? - KU / UConn / Iowa (first double offer)

List is 7, and not 5, apparently. Possible additions: Alabama, MSU, Texas

Illinois in a pretty good spot still??

I've been told 5, so throw the others in a hat and pick as far as my knowledge goes. Illinois made the top 5 or 7! Past that I don't know any more.

Nike Basketball Academy: Full Rosters

Malcolm on the college roster; Goodwin, Tilmon, Garland, Bowen and Lewis on various high school rosters.

Interesting how many guys that Illinois was deeply involved in recruiting made that college roster.

Do you know how that camp operates? Is it skills and games? What is the significance of the 6 high school "teams" -- Cavaliers, Lakers, etc. Do they play each other during the camp sessions? Do the college guys get mixed in? Woeful lack of explanation on that website...

Getting a class of
Frazier, Williams, Goodwin, Kiir, and Tilmon, along with the players already in the cupboard, brings us consistently back into top 20-30 conversation during the basketball season.

You forgot Pickett. Domino #1. I think he's going to surprise people when his body develops. Honestly, he reminds me physically of myself at the same age: super skinny, average athlete, but great frame (broad shoulders, long limbs). At 17, I was 6'0, 160, ran a 5.1 40, and vertical jumped 28". After 4 years of weight training and good nutrition, I was 6'1, 215, 4.7, 33". If I'd just bloomed a little sooner, I wouldn't have had to pay for my UIUC degree :-D

Super skinny to Fat Greg. Status quo for the Loyalty community I'd guess.
