Both of those players are really good but my god, that might be some of the most atrocious defense I've ever seen

Vegas tourneys are famous for that. It's the last evaluation period, last weekend of AAU for most teams. Last chance to rack up scholarships and most coaches aren't handing them out for defensive stops. Zach put up 50-some a couple years ago out there -- remember other kids hitting 60+ points in LV.

I was thinking the same thing OldGreg. In a Big Ten game you can typically count the number of layups in a game on one hand. Along those same lines, I love the number of difficult shots Nate Hinton makes. He also looks like he has the best handle of the wings we're recruiting. I wonder how much of a shot we have of getting him.

Hearing Finke is less and less likely. Staff thinks there is better options out there. Finke is still an option just not a top one.

Ayo, Conditt, Pearson is likely, Staff still trying to figure out their top priorities for the 4th spot.

For the 4th spot names like THT, Hellems, Nolley, Sow, Archie being thrown around.

I would be happy if we took 2 bigs. Doubtful we get 3. Sow, Conditt and Pearson would not be a good fit and they likely wouldn't go for it, either.

Their games are drastically different. I doubt we get 3 bigs as well but I'm not sure how they wouldn't be a good fit together... But it's kind of a pointless thing to debate.

I don't think the staff has been following Archie around as much not sure if they got vibes he wasn't a likely option and moved on.

I'd like to see Zion get an offer as I've mentioned he just needs to play his game in front of the whole staff and hopefully that happened/happens this weekend.. Aaron Henry is blowing up and just got an offer and said he's going to try to make it for a visit soon.

Kids want to start. We would have those three and Ebo and Matic at the four/five. That's great for us, but I doubt that 3 bigs would sign up for that.

Plus BU is known to play smaller guys at the four since he plays positionless basketball. We are chasing a ton of 6-5/6-6/6-7 types who could fill that role.

Just don't see the playing time for that many bigs.

But I've been wrong many times before.

I want Colin Castleton. For no other reason than he reminds me a bit of Nick Smith. And who didn't love Nick Smith? Castleton can be Chainsaw Junior, y'all!

Yeah Nick smith was a banger

*Grins*

Not his game. I haven't watched one minute of that. I just love me some tall doofy white guys. If it isn't Nick Smith, it's Mav. or Tisdale. Or Cole. Or any guy I can look at and say, "Look. I could do that if i was seven foot tall instead of five foot eight.

Illinois staff was suppose to watch a couple games this weekend.. Haven't made it yet.. Kind of annoying because this kid is from Chicago and is blowing up.

Maybe they feel confident about Finke! :D

Team Rose went 2-0 today. Beat Team Harden 68-45 and 1 Family 90-66. Unfortunately, the Adidas tournament was played at 3 locations, and 2 of them have no stats to report, only scores. According to Borzello, even Big Baller games are not reporting stats. (Not sure how Ball got his team into the Adidas Tournament -- and got a referee kicked out of a game for t'ing him up -- unless he's working with Adidas on a contract, but their games at the 2 high schools are only reporting final scores too.) All I've been able to find out is Underwood was at the first game this morning along with the other teams that are usually mentioned as finalists for THT.
