@ the state tournament yesterday. Miller, Fairlee, Murdix were impressive. Liddell is a man among boys! Southeast will compete with MP today. Both Championships should be fun to watch!

What station is broadcasting the games in Chicago?

Ryan Luther looks like the ideal player for our offense. Nice form on his 3s, can put it on the ground, can post. Would take him over Cunningham due to fit for BU offense. Ryan shows a lot of movement and activity in the offense, like his diagonal cuts followed by a post on the block or corner 3.

Negative is he had a stress fracture in his foot around December. Needs to get a medical redshirt.

Probably a good time to put that ridiculous speculation to bed.

Although it is a sad day when we can’t even interest a Champaign native who is the son and grandson of Illinois legends.

Played 10 games, and we know what the waiting is like. I would say, pass.

In fairness, it's not like he's a recruit out of HS or a kid who has announced his intent to transfer but decided to go someplace other than Illinois.

He's already playing a lead role on a top-25 team. Expecting him to transfer just for the opportunity to come home isn't a fair expectation, IMO.

Watching the game tonight and feeling confident that we not only have Ayo but will get Miller makes me optimistic about this program no matter what. Selling out to the Mac Irvin Fire was the best decision that Underwood made during the THT saga.

Miller has a great stroke for a high school player. Ayo is long and athletic. I don’t get to see a lot of high school ball, so I’m pretty amazed at the level of chippy , physical play. It’s a far cry from my days (Audie Matthews , Levi Cobb, etc.)

This is my first time seeing Ayo (other than highlights). I love his length for a guard and his ability to score and draw fouls at the rim. Shot has looked decent enough to keep defenses honest but I don’t see him turning into a dead-eye 3-point shooter. I think he may struggle defensively next year.

Why do you think he will struggle? Quickness, effort, adaptation to system?
