More so, that they are interested in a 6'10" PF from the University of Illinois.

Not a good trade for us. I think we'll just keep Finke. I hope he thinks the same.

Still like Wyatt Walker if he is healthy. He has played against decent competition and add to a class of two players. Haven't seen any indication that we or he have any interest but he shows no offers at this point.

The point wasn't about a trade, it's about how a player that plays Finke's position just happened to transfer out.

Kerwin Smith averaged 1 pt and 1 rebound. He likely will transfer to a lower division. Ryan Luther looks like the most appealing due to his fit for the offense and team concept. Ave almost 13 pts and 10 rebounds for Pitt. Very active, nice stroke from 3. Needs to return from foot fracture, that is the "but".

Yeah. Sometimes tongue in cheek is hard to see in words.

The Loyalty Game: How sneaker dollars transformed youth hoops

Thought the recruiting thread was the place for this link.

"Marvin Bagley Jr. and his wife filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy in April 2008, during the Great Recession, listing their combined annual income at just over $44,000. Property records indicate the Bagley home was sold in 2011 at a trustee's sale -- typically a sign of a foreclosure.

Four years later, shortly after Nike's sponsorship of the team became public, they left their working-class neighborhood in Phoenix for Southern California. In a tax filing, the Bagleys listed a home address in a gated subdivision in Northridge called Porter Ranch. Similarly sized homes in the vicinity typically sell for $750,000 to $1.5 million, said Jose Contreras, a Coldwell Banker real estate broker active in the area. Rents in the neighborhood range from $2,500 to $7,500 a month.

Neither the Bagleys nor Nike would offer any details about the team sponsorship or the family's personal finances. Contacted via telephone and through the Duke University sports information department, the Bagleys "respectfully declined" to comment."

Miller is going to be a great player. He's a bit of a chucker at times, but he has plenty of time to improve that. His stroke, his build, his defense, he's going to be a special player. YOU OWE US NICK!!!!

Good luck with that.

I believe Cal is set to get an OV. Xavier, Miss State are also in play.

Heard Nevada recently got involved as well.

Sounds like a player who still has no idea where he is going.

Lon Kruger was latest to stop by and see Austin Trice. He must have liked what he saw because he offered him on the spot, today.

LOL.

This would be the most Illinois thing ever.

Go all-in on the Irvins, only to watch one of them land a job with another college program and direct their talent that way.

I heard all this talk about aligning with the Irvins as being "big boy" recruiting and how spurning the likes of THT was a necessary evil to get to where we want to be. Welp, if the Irvins do in fact go somewhere else, who's the sucker now?

I'm fairly confident that THT was not a exactly the program changer some want to make him out to be. A nice piece, sure but let's not get too dramatic.

Alan Griffin did not win the Mr. BB of New York award. It was won by Savion Lewis and he is going to Qunnipiac. No idea in what position Griffin finished.
