All based on (limited) videos - but I thought the same thing or more like a bit taller, slightly more mobile THT from what I could see. Still think THT could be a a player that matured faster than his peers in HS and may not translate to the next level given he's not 6'8. But again, not living in the area - i have not seen either in person.

I feel like tht matured slower as a basketball player.. his body really transformed the past two years. He began to shed that baby fat & became more defined. He went from a quiet role player to a ball handling, shot blocking machine. Definitely hurt not getting him.

I think Hinson is going to be a borderline great college player. 6'6 1/2" is plenty with that body type. Handles and deep outside range with a great stroke. Dude is solid. I have a feeling on this one...

Andres Feliz season just ended. Southern Idaho defeated Northwest Florida State.

Feliz scored 28 points and had 11 rebounds.

Surprising that he only had 1 assist in that game after he averaged 6.0 for the year. Also shot 41.9% from 3 pt for the season. Once again #1 ranked JUCO PG, we need him for assist distribution.

Somehow I think this has been in the works for a bit (Feliz) ; )

Yup, as I stated before because of his background and involvement in the USF academic fraud case, I'm sure UI wants to check, double check and triple check with NCAA to make sure he's cleared.

Is it warm and fuzzy or cold and distant?

Hinson seems like the Ohio State type player they have been getting the last few years like Marc Loving that helps them beat us for four years

I always thought the only thing holding him back was his athleticism. Did he get significantly more athletic?

Edit: we also have 2 out of 3 for Trice, but Piper just went with Oklahoma on 3/20 so that might mean something. (Full disclosure: I don't have premium so some of the picks are blocked but you can figure it out with a little reasoning..)

I would still like to see Trice to come here to get an in state kid. Kind of assumed that would be an automatic sort of thing with Black checking out. Long wait until April 11th or what ever his date is.

He lost some weight & I feel like he did become more athletic. He wasn't dunking & blocking shots last year at the level I saw him do it this year. Step back threes.. I saw the tape of them playing RJ barrett(#1 in the class) & tht put up close to 30. More than held his own.

he is a TJL who can shoot and cant play D
On Feliz shooter vs TJL....TJL shot 48% overall. Yeah he only shot 26% from 3 and 62%ft, but he was efficient at getting shots close to basket. arguably our best defender...dont want to see him go.

I see positives in Feliz, but he doesnt seem to be as quick as TJL. He does seem to be a good scorer.

Not sure if anyone cares but we may have gotten a little boost today in our recruitment of Hinson and Ramey. Jeremiah Tilmon hired an agent today and is entering the draft. Suddenly there is even less to like about playing for Mizzou. I'm sure the Porter boys are probably on the fence right now themselves. Looks like this ship in Columbia could be sinking faster than anyone expected.

Is this from your brother's daughter's best friend's father's best friend's brother who has an in with one of the assistants on his HS team?

I saw this posted on Twitter last night. Thought Id share it with ya. So that at least two people from Mizzou saying it anyway.

That account is clearly fake. All of "her" tweets are about Tilmon or posting Illinois graphics to recruits, so definitely not a Mizzou alum.

RE: Mizzo. I warn that Cuonzo has been down this road before and been able to reload with the next batch of 5 stars. he can sell immediate playing time and perhaps even sell his "one and done" thing in Columbia, at least one Porter is NBA bound and Tilmon will get a free agent shot or a low round pick. Hinson and Ramey can be the next big thing there. that could also work for Liddell next year. Hope I'm wrong.

Cuonzo has never been able to "reload" bc he's never been in a spot long enough where he's had to. He's usually run out of town before then.

Does Tilmon have any chance?? It seems like such a bad idea after a yawn of a year for him. He's had a whimper of a college career.

Tilmon was just asked 2 or 3 days ago what his plans were and he said he would definitely be back at Missouri.

Tilmon has shown his potential but he is far from consistent, he's still at least a year away and probably 2 years away if not all 3.

Where is this Tilmon news being reported?

If true, wow......what a terrible mistake.

Yeah, he doesn't have a lot going for him except a good h.s. ranking and that old standby, potential. Looking at his stats:

19 min/game, 4 fouls, 8 ppg on 56% FG, 4 rb, 2 TO, and a Shaq-like 52% FT.

He didn't play up in big games, either, and has an under-age drinking arrest. More power to him if he can get drafted off that. Seems like a borderline kind of guy that's on the outside, looking up the draft board. If school's not for him, than he may not have much to lose heading overseas though.

I'm not saying your wrong, but he still has a lot to prove. His team was inflicted with off court issues this year including two cases of drinking and driving and a couple of kids leaving the program mid-season and a kid kicked off the team for some weird sex filming. So he has some culture issues that don't look so hot.

In addition, they had a horrible showing in the SEC (in St. Louis) and NCAA tournament (man handled). Plus we pretty much man handled them as well.

And finally, yes they won 20 games, but maybe the SEC wasn't as great as everyone thought, so the 20 wins (and the SEC) isn't looking as good as previously thought.
