It was really only clearly a problem during that drill where he's standing, waiting for the pass. In the parts of the drill where he's running in and catching on the move, it's just a jump stop. And during the game action, it looked like he was almost always moving in or to the side as he caught it, which would then make the two foot landing/jump a jump stop, too. It's possible he could get called for it if we was just standing and waiting for the pass, but as you noted, even that isn't likely to get called these days. Interestingly, from the right corner, he seemed to step in with only one foot, while in the left corner, he jumped in with both.

Did he then do the hokey-pokey and turn himself around?

It looks like a step and a half to me,same as what's a allowed for a layup.

You must not be seeing what I am then...he clearly travels in 8-10 of the shots he took early. I didnt watch past 2-3 minutes but I could definitely pick out at time slots if you want to know, its not hard to see.

My prediction for next year's starting lineup:
Frazier
Ayo
Jones
Kipper
Ebo

When Conference Play Begins:
Frazier
Ayo
Jones
Kipper
Kane

(Finke, DMW, Griffin, Bez strong contributors off bench)

Could see Griffin starting by conference play if Jones doesn't come.

Please discuss/tell me why I'm wrong.

Interested in what you're seeing in Kane that makes you think he'd supplant Ebo in conference play?

Nice! Rumor has it that he will be announcing his top 50 soon, although he his coach mentioned that additional schools may be entering his recruitment.

Oh, good, will the announcement be live anywhere?

Heard he'll reveal each one in alphabetical order, followed by the seeding and finally showing the first four out/ last four in.

Clark Kellogg is hosting--slotted for two primetime hours.

Kane has jumped up recruiting boards drastically (some now call him a 4*), and I think that giving him college facilities, coaches, and attention will help shoot up his game and will end in a starting spot fairly early on. Also can shoot far better than Ebo

If Chris Mack is hired at Louisville, as rumored, do you think Ramey would reconsider committing to them? Opinions?

I'm only excited by this if there is a bracket on Twitter that he will not stick with.

Is the NCAA, FBI & any other acronym of enforcement done beating on Louisville yet? That would be my concern as a recruit.

That aside, Vince Tyra was named AD about an hour ago.

I think Griffin might start over Kipper by Conference play.
Nothing like the over-inflated expectations of our fans...No doubt that Kane, Griff, and Ayo will all be 1st Team All Conference next year.

I just think he's the real deal. He has been most valuable player in several tournaments this year, and Kipper has been mediocre at best.

Would be pretty darn impressive to go from unranked, unheralded high schooler to starting for a B1G team. I mean, we've had guys ranked in the top 100 that couldn't crack the line up.

Just hope folks take a realistic approach to this rebuild. It's gonna take some time. (I know, wishful thinking). I hope you're right, I really do, but sometimes we have to remember that these are kids.

Didn't Kip do that?

No.

First, Kipper was a 3 star out of HS. He wasn't highly ranked, but he was ranked.

Second, he took a redshirt year to transfer. So he did not go straight from HS to starting in the B1G. He had a whole year of training, weights, practice, growth, etc.

I don't think so...midyear transfer (did he play at previous stop?) and then the 2nd half of the year 2 years ago - I don't remember him starting. This year he was a Soph.

to SDIllini. I will take that bet on what Finke does next year now that he has announced his transfer :) I hope that is a good sign for Giorgi. Now if we can only get one of the great Forwards we are after.:D
