Someone tell me something about reggie bass. He is listed in the 200's on 247. Is this a reach for a recruit?

He was a 5 star in jr high. The staff has surely seen more of him than I have, but from what I've seen 200 looks fair to me.

I think he's clearly got the physical skills, but he will take some coaching.

Pretty good description...the team we lost to was ranked in the 300's. Kofi went on instagram and said something like "I'm bored, can't wait to go home". Even our posters were saying that Kofi should go elsewhere.
That game was the lowpoint in BU's tenure.

Go to YouTube and watch a couple full elevation prep games. They have to be within the last month or so, he only joined the team mid- season.

To be quite blunt about it, I've never seen a player walk more in a game and act more apathetic. I was pretty disappointed. And that was over 3 games including one he scored 21 points in.

Thanks, I do know the names being put out, just wanted to verify who they think we're getting, and possibly order or time frame. Any help on this appreciated, Nappy.

^^This was in response to Podz and his level of competition.^^

I think the big difference is that apparently the Illini sniffed around with Chastain due to proximity, but Podz is Mr. Basketball in Wisconsin (right?) AND look at his offer list and final 5 or whatever it is. Clearly, many other programs that are highly rated see what our coaches seem to see.

Clearly, Matt Chastain was not that level.

However with him playing against competition where he isn't seeing hasn't other D1 players, I question will he be able to perform in a major step up in competition.

I sent his most recent highlight clip to my Purdue grad buddy and asked him what he thought without any context. He also said questionable athleticism and compared him to Foster Loyer. Simple fact is, he's not a slam dunk or everyone would have been in on him before the early signing period. There is definitely room for knowledgeable people to disagree.
