Indy, got to love ya. Surprised you've been quiet on Bass. Where the heck would you dig this photo up?

I really like Reggie. People always look at rankings, Brad doesn't give a rip about rankings. EX: Trent, Giorgi, Grandison and throw in Griffin to. All guys who were kind of under the radar but you need them on your team to be successful. Guys who know their role and just want to freaking win!

If someone wants a comp for Reggie besides our guy Trent. Take a look at CJ Walker. Another Indy kid, but they are very very similar with their games. Reggie just happens to be 6'5 which is always a plus.

Haha, I actually had the photo sent to me when I inquired about how serious the Jaden Hardy situation really was. Definitely a hidden meaning behind the photo that some people may be able to piece together...

Hmm. One is said recruit's brother. One pled guilty to bribery charges. One is our head coach.

I could turn that into several hidden messages but have no idea which you are implying.

I don't think we are stopping it. Nimari, Boakye, Podz, and TyTy seem to be the dream group rn, (maybe Hardy). And Bass is already a done deal according to most

First, we reel in the first one on the 19th... Then on to the other two B's. Land both of those boys and that puts the class at 4 for now...

I can tell you one thing, they don't intend to take that dang foot off the pedal.

Had a very well-known assistant at another school tell me, "Brad and his staff have a new swagger to them. They're recruiting with the elite now."

I thought staff was really high on Schutt. Is he not ready to commit to us or vice versa? Would we still take him and Bass?

I trust the staff, but a little surprised Bass is our first ‘22.

Taking a page from my football recruiting studies: I trust the offers more than the rankings. Offers from TTU, Oregon State, Florida, Kansas State tells me he's better than his ranking.

And for those wanting to watch his highlight video (The Trent comparisons make sense. Gifted passer and willing to shoot it from outside. Concerns are whether he's willing to attack the rim and finish because his passing ability will make defenders sheepish about helping too much):

Video is a little bouncy, just to warn those ahead of time.

Nice clip. Kid looks good.

People seem dissapointed about Bass - primarily because he's not a top 100 guy. He's a 2022 recruit. He has a whole year to reach your "star power" benchmark. Tyty was only ranked ~100 a month ago and now he's top 50.

The staff has over a year to recruit for 2022. I doubt they'd let a guy commit this early if they weren't convinced. I'm willing to admit I'm not the best at evaluating talent from tape alone so I also depend on recruiting services. Trust in Brad

I view purely as a PG from that highlight video. I also think his listed weight is awfully generous. If his height is accurate then I am not afraid of him filling out over the next 18 months. If anyone has seen a video of him attacking the rim, would love to see it.

A 6'5" CJ Walker? I have no further questions, your honor.

Blue Blood status here we come. Can you see our 🟦 up there in the recruiting battles with Kansas and Kentucky. Think about the top ten kids that WANT to stay home and be on a better team

He goes to the rim in those elevation prep games and...... it's a mixed bag.

For starters he has the explosiveness to get into the lane and to the rim pretty much whenever he wants but once he goes to shoot it depends on where he is. If he can get to the rim he's got good body control and can score. If there are bodies between him and the hoop it's a lot more dicey. I saw him drive from beyond half court, get into the lane, and let it go from around 5 ft. I swear the shot was 3 ft short of the hoop.

People who say his ranking will rise, maybe. But this was a 5 star guy in jr high. He's not some unknown. He'll probably be in the top 150 when all is said and done, I'm just assuming the staff sees the raw materials that can be molded into something good.

I would like to see some games from his other stops because my impression of this elevation prep is very low.

Possibly looking for solid 4 year players to compliment the 2-3 top 50 recruits.

I have faith in BU/team recruiting. Always seem to have a plan A-Z. He is not limited to the state or a few options. Would love for Burnette to form a nice guard group with Belo and Acewolf.
