Chatter is mostly about guys not yet in the portal so there isn't much that can be said. A lot of these transfers depend on who is leaving and who is coming back for Illinois and who knows when we will know all that. So timing for some of these guys with mutual interest will be tricky.

He committed and decomitted to DePaul as an 8th grader. 🤷‍♂️

Then he committed and decomitted and committed again to UCLA.:oops: Did he decommit again?... I'm getting dizzy. 😵

Oh I would never be ran off I try to measure my information enough not to get caught out on the ledge but if it ever happens it happens.

I've mentioned this story before but years ago I was told by an AAU coach what really happened with Ayo/THT before just about anybody else knew it.

I tried to vaguely hint at it then finally came out with it. I was told I was not a very truthful person "because it would be out there already" by many on here. By the time it was it was too late for that account.

Stuff happens. There's a fine balance on providing information but doing it when appropriately but unfortunately that's generally when somebody like Piper has already done it..

If Kofi, Frazier, and D. Williams all return ( not likely) but if, would the starting lineup be set...those 3 plus Belo n Miller? Or do we think TF or DW would let a Frosh take their spot? Certainly would affect a guy like TYTy.

This is why I am leaning toward having TF and Monte move on. We need to look to the future and they would hinder recruiting if they stayed. We need to get longer and more athletic.

AM started as a Freshman but one could easily argue that the Curbelo "6th man of the year" Freshman received more press/accolades. Last 2 years years were great for BU selling rapid development and early playing time(Kofi, AC and AM).
The veteran players surrounding newcomers are key.
AM and AC are the veterans now...keep the pipelines going.

Agreed. But it would have to be handled with kid gloves. Be very tough to look either one in the face and suggest they move on......I would bite the bullet if that be the case.....probably irrelevant anyway
