No. Not at all. The theory is that Tilmon has already committed unofficially and cuonzo has asked him to hold off on announcing until Knox makes his decision. (Nothing kills your chances for a coveted recruit greater than offering a scholarship that doesn't officially exist.) I am sure Cuonzo could persuasively assure JT that he will have a guaranteed priority spot on the roster regardless of Knox decision. If Knox picks Mizzou- then porter pays own tuition or somebody gets creaned. If Knox picks someone else (the most likely scenario In this case), JT commits right away without any roster adjustments.

Just a theory...not an insider...hope I'm way off and JT re commits to the Illini.

Maybe Luther Head will pay Porter's tuition. :D

Since we clearly have nothing substantial to discuss :D Could someone give a young buck like me a quick rundown of the origin of "are his growth plates still open"? Where did that come from?

It may be different than I describe but here's my take. I think it originated from a different site (one that had its own hilarious language and inside jokes). Conversations were taking place on a short recruit. Then someone with inside knowledge advised that the recruits growth plates were still open. Then each time we were recruiting a short (for there position) recruit, the question would be asked, "but are his growth plates open". It became particularly funny after the question also pertained to 7 footers like Anthony Davis.

Well since we all seem bored, how about we pick who we think will be the next commit and your reason why you think so ?

I think Ignas Brazdeikis will be first

reason is . the staff will convince him how bad we want him for this year and talk him into reclassifying

I sure hope you are right. Of the potential '17s I want him by far the most and thats including Mr. Tilmon.

Apparently News and his AAU teammate Paper are very close. They are so tight they can be bound with a rubber band! They are supposed to be a package deal. Heard it's Misery because of their Journalism School.

So, according to Original jay z, we have now found a player who doesn't fit Underwood's system. Do I have that correct?

Lot of invitational AAU events this weekend. Fire is at the Run 'n Slam in Ft. Wayne. A lot of times not all the team players are at these for the entire weekend since it's not part of the EYBL circuit. Fire and All Ohio Red are the only EYBL teams I've noticed at Run 'Slam -- there is a Wisconsin Playground Elite but I don't think it's the EYBL version.
The Jayhawk Invitiational is another one going on this weekend. The St. Louis Eagles were at that one last year but I don't see Bradley Beal this year. Howard Pulley is the only EYBL team I saw.
Anyway Fire beat this Wisconsin Playground Elite 87-79 last night. Saw this on Mac Irvin Fire's twitter. You can also follow how guys are doing on Scott Burgess' twitter feed. https://twitter.com/scottybscout
Seeing a lot of Illinois players from the Wolves and Lockdown getting mentions.
EYBL session 3 picks up next weekend in Atlanta.
