I hated the Weber hiring from day 1. Seeing the disaster unfold after the 05 team is the main reason we were a downtrodden program. The good news is that it took another bad hire to get the right hire. Underwood will succeed like Lou did.

The elephant in the room WRT recruiting is that everyone (save for Ayo and probably Kofi) may be back. Kids want to play and the uncertainty about not having a clear path to some PT has hurt us. Not saying that that's been the only factor, but kids aren't morons (most, anyway).

That didn't seem to matter with Bryce Hopkins. I don't really think this logic holds universally.

I get your point, but isn't that sort of universal? Probably not to the same degree at every school, but mostly true at top 25 programs, wouldn't you think?

I really, really like this AJ Storr kid. I'm not sure what the point of the highlight at 0:48 is. Because he made a simple pass?

Yeah, he looks great (the tape don't lie). Kankakee native, late bloomer, physical specimen. Reclassifying was 100% the right move for this kid.

Is he class of 2021 now? Physically, he looks like a college player right now.

Ayo, Kofi, and Miller. All three are on (at least some) mock drafts.

So other than our 3 star players, a newcomer would have to compete for PT. Doesn't seem like a serious obstacle. YMMV
