Anyone here gotten a chance to see Nas Turner (Kenwood) yet? I think he compares athletically to Tevian Jones. Intriguing prospect.

Have to admit I hadn't heard of this kid, but he looks like an intriguing mid-major prospect. Not a ton of info on him out there, looks like he has an offer from Lewis and Kent State according to Verbal Commits. Looks like he took an unofficial to Bradley as well.

Chin Coleman is in the house to see Ayo Dosunmu and Adam Miller. Will watch 2019 priority Malik Hall after that as well.

Ayo takes Tim Finke to the rack for 2 on the first possession.

Nick Irvin: "Oh, he's going to get 40 tonight."

Ayo Dosunmu (@AyoDos_11) with the bucket at the buzzer for Morgan Park (@EMPEHIAthletics) at the @ChiEliteClassic.

Mario McKinney is a cousin of Jimmy McKinney, who played for Missouri (and Vashon)

Mario McKinney is an absolute stud.

Guys just raving about his performance against Whitney Young on twitter. Definite high major player.

Had 33 points shooting 12/18 from the field to go along with 7 rebounds.. Explosive guard... Very bouncy.

Grades could be an issue.

I don't know if McKinney has grade issues , but he is a stud. He has excellent hops and body control along with the very good basketball skills. I was also impressed with Vashon soph, 6'6" Cam Ron Fletcher. This was a very entertaining game with two athletic teams that really pushed the ball. Vashon edged WY for the victory. Morgan Park's Ayo was as good as advertised and was able to penetrate at will. Adam Miller was equally impressive.

Oof. Finke was 5-18 from the field and 1-8 from 3.

Hmmm...maybe if he had a point guard to get him the ball in spots to score; or maybe a second scorer on the team to take some pressure off?

;)

Champaign Central is a different team without Baily Dee. Does anyone know if he is playing at another school or know the reason why he was cut from the team?

Last sentence....care to guess who we end up with?

http://www.news-gazette.com/sports/...2017-12-03/dosunmu-goes-above-and-beyond.html

Also: A lot has been made about 1 and done either from Ayo, coaches, or fans comments or references. Almost every time I see Ayo mentioning anything about recruiting, it sure seems as if he figures to be at Illinois more than 1 or maybe even 2 years. He wants players...Okoro/Liddell would be next year with him and Miller the next?

Ayo is a great talent, but he is nowhere near a 1-and-done talent.

I ran the numbers a few weeks ago. PGs over the past 5-6 years ranked in the 20-30 range stayed in college, on average, about 2.5 years. There was only 1 or 2 instances of 1-and-done out of about ~20 or so kids.

2-3 years seems about right to me for Ayo. Would be surprised to see him stick around for the full 4. Would be even more surprised if he was a one-and-done.

Literally just get BU any bit of talent that is a decimal higher than what we have and we would be scary for the foreseeable future. Let’s get it done. Do your thing AYO And get your boys to campus
