no kidding. And the other kids are posting each other about him. Kezo's twitter is very sad and almost scary.
TownieMatt speaks and I just concur always. His picture leaves no room for argument.
I do think Nolley & Ayo will be ours. And we'll be fine, as long as safe from injury and targeting calls (had to slip that in....can't watch football anymore).
Not in this offense. Underwood wants essentially 4 wings and a big. We don't need 5 post players.
I think guys like Liddell are the ideal 4 in this offense, black too. Finke is close to the ideal 5.
My view is, we still have our highest rated recruits in play. And if we play isu or Michigan, I just don't think figuring out how to handle Conditt or Castleton will be a large part of the game prep. Good players but not game changers.
We will need bigs in the 2019 class, but that is assuming we don't get someone great in the fall period. Then we will be back to wanting bigs not needing bigs.

Yes, his new Twitter handle is Black Disciples Killer Kezo and he's flashing gang signs and his first tweet is about how he used to shoot basketballs and now he shoots glock 30s.
If this is some sort of joke, it's a bad one. Hope he didn't fall that hard, but it looks like it.

Pretty much exactly what I was thinking, do give Leonard some props though, and D. Paul is now in the show, not exactly a pipeline to the NBA is our beloved, but with D Will we do have a handful to reference.
It is a different animal across all major sports. Kids these days are on crazy travel circuits at an early age, parents devote their lives to their future, handlers, relatives, friends, agents, coaches, you name it are telling these kids they have a shot at the pros. We know the odds are stacked against even the top level kids, but they are programmed now to see themselves in the show. 4 years of education and NCAA championships are not the main sales pitch, kids want to hear that they can play on a championship contender immediately or relatively soon, and be first round picks within a year or two.
We must be patient, we have very little to sell to the ranked kids we are coveting until we produce results on the court and kids feel like they have a shot at the show by coming to Illinois.

Personally, this bums me out a lot more than losing recruits.
CC had released a request, via twitter, asking for respect for his decision. At that time his top two: UM and UoI. I suspect that request was aimed at UoI fans.

I really think the FBI thing has stung us and recruiting momentum is really important right now. My biggest fear is that we miss on Nolley and Ayo sees us as fading. I'll be glad when the next 2 weeks are over and some of these questions are answered.

People getting their panties in a bunch over some 17/18 year old kids college decision isn't enough, they have to abuse their decision on social media. It's pathetic.
Can't fix stupid....
We can all be frustrated, just don't take it out on the kid. It's his choice, we got out recruited, end of story.
