How many times have you seen the #27 player in a class go one and done the next season? It's good to have goals, but that doesn't mean you are going to reach all of your goals right away. Plus, the NBA is sounding like the one and done rule is on the way out sooner than later.
For fun, I went back 5 years and looked at any PG/CG ranked in the 20-30 range to see how long they stayed on campus.
Obviously the 2017 class is outside the scope of this discussion since they haven't even played a real game yet, so I'm beginning with 2016 and working backwards.
2016: Kobi Simmons, Arizona: ONE AND DONE
2016: Bruce Brown, Miami: Entering his sophomore year
2016: Andrew Jones, Texas: Entering his sophomore year
2016: Cassius Winston, MSU: Entering his sophomore year
2016: Alterique Gilbert, UCONN: Entering his sophomore year
2015: Jalen Brunson, Villanova: Entering his junior year
2015: Jalen Adams, UCONN: Entering his junior year
2015: Jawun Evans, Oklahoma State: PLAYED TWO YEARS
2015: Tyler Dorsey, Oregon: PLAYED TWO YEARS
2014: Tyler Ulis, Kentucky: PLAYED TWO YEARS
2014: Joel Berry, UNC: Entering his senior year
2014: Melo Trimble, Maryland: PLAYED THREE YEARS
2013: Tyler Ennis, Syracuse: ONE AND DONE
2013: Cat Barber, NC State: PLAYED THREE YEARS
2013: Terry Rozier, Louisville: PLAYED TWO YEARS
2013: Rysheed Jordan, St. Johns: Personal issues

2012: Yogi Ferrell, IU: PLAYED FOUR YEARS
2012: Semaj Christon, Xavier: PLAYED TWO YEARS

So there you have it. 20 kids. 2 one-and-dones. And 3 four-year kids. The rest are either 2 years, 3 years, or still playing.
