Which would make next weekend at Illinois his last official visit . . . just like Ayo this weekend. And if being the last official visit is truly the advantage that the Henricksen article suggests, then an Ayo/THT class might still happen and all of the recent negativity about BU's recruiting chops will look plain silly. Stay the course and make it happen!

If you think that having zero commits makes for a good sellIng point....I don’t know what to say. I’m sure the FBI investigation is a plus too.

I don't catch everything that goes on...has there ever been any indication that THT has any interest in going to Illinois? Other than the staff being optimistic. He just does not act like he's coming here.

Not really, but I think it was Piper that said we are trying to get back into it and making some progress. That's pretty vague, but I think if we could get Ayo it would help our chances.

On the front page there's a tweet posted that says there actually is momentum for a THT visit next weekend. I don't know the source there, though. I'd imagine the chatter on here originates either there or from someone with premium info that couldn't share exactly what they read but somehow conveyed the gist of it.

It sure is a good thing we are recruiting Ayo for basketball instead of football, then, making the football fan support much more irrelevant.

I quoted the wrong post. You originally commented on the status of our football program and the effect it could possibly have on Ayo and other recruits.
I think it's safe to say those other programs do alright without a solid football showing.

If you have lost all hope...than this board may not be the best place for you to hang out.
I think our biggest selling points for bb recruits will be shown on bb court.

I hope he's thinking..."I can own this place with Mark Smith" - there's absolutely no competition for Illini Legend status - and I hope the coaches are selling him on that too.

Saturday afternoons in Champaign not good. Saturday nights, much better. My guess is Ayo is not with people moping over a football loss right now.
