BOOM! Feed my ego.
Ayo, THT, Smith, Da'Monte, Frazier, Lucas, Kipper.:pray::pray:

And if AJ wants to make me look silly by being better than all of them, I dare him to prove me wrong.

They need to add 1-2 bigs in 18. I do not expect much 19 action until the summer, other than the occasional visits. JMO.

I big if they can find a good one, as long as no one leaves , we will have enough bigs for 18. 2 SR 2 Soph bigs. Then you replace the SR with Okoro and EJ in 19

We can simply agree to disagree on that I guess. Ayo wants to be a 1 or 2 and done. There aren't many schools that can boast as good a record of developing pros as Wake Forest the past decade or so.

Currently it is:

Chris Paul
Jeff Teague
Ish Smith
James Johnson
Al Farouq Aminu
John Collins

vs.

Myers Leonard

Additionally Manning is a 17 year NBA vet and was the #1 overall pick himself. Underwood is a good coach and has had a lot of success, and most likely is going to win a lot of games. If Ayo is looking at the NBA as his goal (which it clearly is), Wake Forest seems to have the upper hand.

How many GM's does Underwood have on speed dial? How many former players? How many mentors can Manning produce to help Ayo reach his NBA potential vs. how many can Underwood produce? IT doesn't mean that Manning is a better X's and O's coach, it just means that he was one of the greatest college players of all time, and had a long and succesfull NBA career that netted him a massive network of pros. Its a huge advantage in recruiting, and I think it is why Wake has seen some recruiting success even though the Win / Loss record doesn't match up quite yet. We really didn't deserve to sign Olivier Sarr, Chaundee Brown, Jaylen Hoard, or Isaiah Mucius, but we did mainly because of the pro experience of our staff in Manning and additionally with Chilldress.

I get the speed dial argument. I really do.

I honestly don't know, but how many pros has Danny put into the league through development?

Brad just put a PG into the league last year. Orlando Antigua and his U.K. Roots. Lots.

It's funny that we haven't even locked up Ayo or THT and some are moving onto 2019 elite players committing to us sometime within the next 2-4 months.

Yet if we miss on Ayo tomorrow (a real possibility) then it will be deemed as though our program is a dumpster fire.

I am afraid Ayo may skip college altogether, he just started tweeting about the Greek Freak and the Bucks.

Everything that I have read from the Coaches is they say Matic Vesel is more of a wing and not a player that looks to be a Big that will guard or play in the post much. Maybe in 3 years IMO ? So they really only have 3 true Bigs. In Finke he had a hard time guarding anyone in the lane or at the rim and wasn't a good Defensive rebounder. Last year Black could rebound but was foul prone and isn't going to be able to defend a taller Center and the other Big is a Freshman that has a lot to learn without much of a Offensive game. One more Big for 2018 would be great if they can find one that's good enough.

Our inside game has been a weakness, despite last year having a very improved Mav. This year he is gone. I saw Matic this summer in quite a few games at the European championships, he can become a good player, but he is definitely not ready. We are currently very thin up front and will be a weakness this year. There is absolutely no way we can go into next year without adding at least a big in the 18 class, and that even assumes that Ebo surprises and outperforms expectations.

With regard to THT, most of the national guru's did not even know he had an OV to Illinois lined up until quite recently. Guys like Piper have known about the visit for a lot longer. THT is keeping things very quiet and close to the vest, so I would not put a ton of faith into any national guys on this one. Not saying we are getting THT, just that there is a lot of baseless speculation.

If we're talking players that have played in the league the past decade you could include Luther Head on that list as well as Brian Cook

Dee and Augustine both had a cup of tea in the league also

Rumor is he's wearing his CP3's today. I heard someone say they saw his underwear and they looked to be black.

Nick Irvin was seen this a.m. picking up this cake at Laine's Bake Shop in MP.
