As painful as the whole hat fake with Cliff Alexander was....it turned out to be a good thing. For those of you who don't know, he had to sit out for the second half of the season because his parents took out a loan from a finance company. He went undrafted in the NBA. He eventually did join the Summer League I think but he wasn't some big shot like he was projected to be.

If anything...Illinois dodged a bullet.

So as painful as that was and people could laugh at Illinois fans all they wanted but it was turned out to be a good thing that he didn't come here.

Guys...we’re at T-minus 5 hours—where are the users with 3 total posts to their name, claiming to have 100% knowledge of where Ayo’s going (and pointing to different schools, of course)?!?!? What happened to the Loyalty we all know and can’t help ourselves from F5’ing on?!?

It only works when the entire world knows that you are not getting a recruit, yet this board is convinced we have a really good chance. At worst... a 50-50 chance.

We temporarily moved that scenario to the WF board, no need to return it.
