A lot of drama is message board driven. What drama are you seeing with Ayo? That he is taking advantage of his in-home and official visits? I thought Smith had one of the least drama filled recruitments in recent memory. Especially given his meteor like rise. He had a few in homes, a few officials and then committed. I dont consider that drama. Isnt Ayo's recruitment exactly the same?

Personally, I wouldn't use the word "drama" to describe Ayo's recruitment, but like any good novel, there's a lot of tension. It's been said a good novel is about life with the boring parts left out. As for our recruits, no boring parts this year.

Elite recruits are in high demand. Always. We should be counting our lucky stars that the Ayo sweepstakes is a lot more manageable than if the blue bloods were involved. Can we save the hand wringing for if and when Ayo commits elsewhere?

Ayo's recruitment will have a lot of drama before it's all over.

It seems that people think we should have top recruits knocking down the doors at Ubben to make their commitments. This program has sucked for over a decade yet we're in deep with some really good guys and landed Illinois Mr Basketball for 2017.

With very few exceptions any time you're recruiting top talent there's going to be drama because other schools (mostly with much better recent history) are also after these guys.

Maybe we should go after bench players from small high schools so we can have drama free commitments and fill up our classes quickly.

Good things come to those who wait. We'll be just fine for the 2018 class.

I knew that Conditt had a huge family following but this ISU Sunday night in home shows a lot. How are they all going to make it to Ames??:D

If you truly think that Ayo's recruitment has a lot of drama, then you clearly weren't around for the Cliff/Snider days or the D-Jax face turn. This is Tee-ball compared to those situations.

Two of those kids are top 50, the other top 100. They also all play different positions than Ayo. I'm sure they'll be selling him on hard on playing together with Ayo having the keys to the car. Hopefully it rains in LA this weekend!

Rain would put out the fires!

Really straight forward, except the natural drama that comes from us not knowing where he's going yet

If they have an inhome on Monday, it will mean that Castleton didn't commit to Florida over the weekend. That's our best hope.

I will keep saying this and no one believes me, but I would be shocked if Florida accepts a commitment from Colin this weekend.

Simply have other priorities. If the take him, they will definitely over sign.

You're not alone in that belief

USC bringing in all their commits this weekend for Ayo (Taeshon Cherry, Kevin Porter Jr, J'Raan Brooks). Let's hope it works as well as it did when we did that with Wilkes.

This weekend going uppppp @Kid_Groovy @JraanBrooks @AyoDos_11 !!! We all in LA

Yep, that one definitely did not work out the way JG & staff had hoped! Wilkes' parents were specifically not fond of Tilmon

Castleton will probably commit to us, be developed into a stud, then transfer to Florida when they finally want him because with the new rule he won't have to sit out a year.
