No brainier, said this happening months ago, how many rides does UM have open?

Technically none, but they're recruiting as though Wagner will go pro and maybe even 2 over if it's someone they want bad enough.
They've got 3 guys coming in next week and have Locke coming in for an official. Beilein could make a killing this year if he gets Barrett and Locke to go along with Iggy. He'd find a way for it to work out.

It's down to us and Michigan for CC. Michigan will take another this class to make up for Wagner leaving early at the end of the season. I think they are looking primarily to take a guard at this point though. So with Iggy to michigan, it may that CC never even visits mich and we win.

Doesn't NCAA say you can only oversign by 1??

If I read these two articles correctly, Michigan is out of scholarships for 2018, so no place for THT or Castleton. They already have four verbals for 2018: Brazdeikis joins Brandon Johns, David DeJulius, And Taylor Currie in Michigan’s 2018 class.

From earlier in the summer:

Recruiting: Michigan's 2018 basketball commits, scholarship offers, targets

Michigan is likely to add at least two more players alongside DeJulius. . . . Michigan currently has one open scholarship for 2018-19, but can over-sign the class by one.

1 at some point. We were willing to oversign by 2 to get Cliff. If RJ Barrett and Noah Locke want to sign with Michigan, Beilein is going to sign them and worry about the problems later.
(or at least take the verbals and worry about the rest later.)

Let's hope this is how it goes for us when we finally get number 1.

Three commitments this week for Ohio State, with ESPN 100 Luther Muhammad following ESPN 100 Jaedon LeDee and guard Duane Washington.

Just realized Michigan already has 2 power forwards committed and now Brazdeikis, I'd be shocked if Castleton decides to go there

Wow, that was a pretty quick "soon."

Hey, I'm feeling bullish on this one. Close it out, Coach O!

I know there has been some mention of Castleton having a game that 'could' translate to the NBA. Aside from his shot, I wonder what skills people are seeing that translate to the NBA? Overall skills? Also, based solely on the schools recruiting him, if we land him, we have to feel VERY VERY good about that.

He is very very coordinated for a person his size. He runs the court really well. He has fantastic instincts on the boards. He is incredibly skinny but looks to have a frame that can put on a little bulk to fill out. And yes, as a shooter, he has great form on his jump shot. See for yourself:

edit: forgot to mention that he is a surprisingly good ball handler

Two minutes in and I already love he is ability to move off the ball and screens.

He reminds me a lot of Zach Collins from Gonzaga who just went 10th overall in the NBA Draft last year. If we get CC and he becomes anything similar, that'd be incredible
