So if you could only have one of EJ and Tshiebwe which would it be?

(I assume Shannon would be 3rd just based on positional needs, but feel free to disagree)
Torn, and want to say EJ. I wish I knew more on how Kane and Giorgi will look for us. OT would better than those 2 obvi, but not as needed if they can provide legit contributions.

Where is the Dislike Thumbs Down button?

I know, I know... we need one indeed. I did not try to be impolite, just tried to find a gif for "joke" and was mesmerized by the gif video, not meant as offensive.

EJ. Likely two time Mr Basketball (last to do that: Jabari Parker). Given the events of this week I think we have a 33% chance to get him... ...

I’ve always had a feeling that Shannon was as good as ours but that feeling obviously isn’t as strong since he committed and then decommitted from DePaul.

Landing Tshiebwe would be the major recruiting coup for us.

Isn’t Markese Jacobs visiting soon as well?

I forgot he opened it back up. That would be crazy pg depth with him in the mix.

Short term great depth, yeah, but also, that's the kind of guy who can develop into a superstar as an upperclassman when Trent and Feliz are gone.

I thought Kansas was smart to lock him up, not sure what happened in the interim.

Personally I think Tshiebwe is overranked at this point. No way he's better than Cockburn.

I think EJ is the better basketball player, but I'm torn on a couple other fronts, first that missing on EJ probably means we get to replace Walker, and second that finding someone 85% as good as EJ is probably easier than finding someone 85% as good as Tshiebwe.

I do not have great confidence we'll end up with either though, alas.

I do think we might be in good position for Shannon, who is a nice player, though I wonder if his mess of a shooting motion doesn't make him a bit overranked too.

Cockburn is a traditional center and Tshiebwe looks much quicker to me. Not sure about shooting ability but T's speed makes him the more desirable of the two and his size is a greater need than EJ. All could change based on the development of Jones, Kane and Bez however. They ( T and EJ) would be highly complementary and believe the pair could be a game changer.

I didn't watch it long enough. Can someone tell me if I eventually got the joke?

I'd probably pick EJ, primarily for two reasons:
  • He is a regional product who is more likely to help us with long-term regional recruiting.
  • Mizzou is in his top 3, so it keeps a top prospect out of Columbia.

Look, this is easy...after the 3 show up at the school just ground all flights, put up road blocks, lock all the doors, and don't let anyone out until we get 3 signed LOI's.

Slightly more seriously...if we got verbals from all 3 and they all signed in the early signing period, what the heck would we all do on this board until the 2020's start solidifying?

Interesting that Tshiebwe, Timme, and Cockburn are all 5 stars on Rivals. (21,29,30). When was the last time we were still in the hunt for three five star bigs?
