I was thinking something with Quincy Guerrier (AKA Candyman) but perhaps I'm straight nuts

Wish it was though.

Interview with Omar Payne. When asked if he could see himself playing with Kofi if he comes back, he says, "I could". (~18min mark)

I truly believe the B1G is the best coached conference in all of NCAA-land, but it is not the most talented conference. Our players tend to stick around longer and actually collect their degrees. We tend to do more with less, and there is nothing wrong with that. Playing true team ball is why I enjoy watching college hoops so much more than pro. And I think the B1G is the best at that.
If Juwan sticks around at Michigan, we may have the B1G's first blue blood on our hands with the way he's recruiting.

Earn his keep? Dude was a skinny freshman last year and showed some really nice flashes. Hawkins will be a key guy for us. His shot blocking ability will be a pleasant surprise, too.
The only thing that really stood out to me regarding Hawkins WAS his shot blocking. I certainly believe he can develop, but if we’re expecting to see him play big minutes at the 4 next year than I’d say the 4 is a problem area. I think Illini definitely needs to shore up the 4 spot. I can see Hawkins getting 10-15 minutes next year depending on matchups, but more than that could be a problem.

Hawkins in a plus athlete, has a decent stroke, solid handles, and a good feel for passing. He has a lot of the things we need and are looking for. Now it is up to him to put in the work with Fletch to bulk up.

Joel Goodson

respect my decision™
There will be viable options returning from entering the draft. With our team, especially if Kofi is back, our hole at the 4 is bound to be awfully appealing.
Just to be clear, I used hole here in relative terms, meant no disrespect to Hawk. He forced me to recalibrate his impact and timetable. I'm high on him, it's just that there are certain types that will abuse him. Would much rather have 2 good PFs, than 1 (math major).
