You miss once predicting where an 18-year-old kid is going to commit and you get crucified on here... My goodness.

Indy, (and 0440, and DB Headbands, and Combes, et al.), I will repeat, please know that the majority of us here REALLY appreciate your insight and posts. Those who spout their negativity just need to be ignored or taken with a grain of salt. We all know that ‘recruiting is fluid.’ Please keep your ‘Booms’ and info coming! You ARE appreciated.

Does anyone have any insight as to what an NIL "package" looks like that we might put in front of a recruit? Is it a bunch of comps to other players? Bunch of commitments from businesses? Curious how that process is evolving...

Some of these poster's entire existence is gathering your info and telling it to their friends. If they look bad they will come back and take it out on you. Sad state of affairs.

I love the friends , even tho you are anonymous to me , I have made here....
I love the comradery of fellow fanatics of all things Illini
I love how this board has grown as far as membership and the sense of humor that Dan is allowing nowadays
I even "'like "" the debbie downers as they have accomplished the feat of bringing the fellow bro's and sis' together even tighter than before
Finally I just love to spend time here and laugh at all the things being discussed even if they don't mean much in the greater knowledge the Ancient's will be giving us soon.......That is what I'm waiting for and I won't say "" I told you so "". when it happens.....I'll just bask in this world finally becoming a community of carbon units truly caring for and about one another.....

I've followed recruiting for so long that you used to have to subscribe to Bob Gibbons All-Star Report to have a glimpse into who was being recruited and how highly they were ranked. Don't let the nattering nabobs of negativity get to you Indy, I'm just glad you're in a position to tell us what the staff is hearing and do so. Even the staff gets blindsided at times by these kids decisions.
