Assuming JJ reclassifies, who are our primary bigs targets for '23? (i.e., the kids at the very top of our board). Not feeling it with Buzelis.
Buzelis would still be a great get, but he projects more wing than big.

Browsing our listed offers on 247, no names really stand out as ones we've seen mentioned heavily on the board, bar maybe Booker who was mentioned just above.

Seems like we have offers out to the top guys and then a handful in the middle and guys at prep schools.

With the new transfer rules, I think we’ll see a change when it comes to recruiting high school bigs in general. As we all know, bigs are generally much less ready to make an immediate impact (outside of the Kofis/5-stars of the world). I think you’ll see more and more programs leverage the portal to recruit bigs on a yearly basis.

Gus Yalden, class of '23 big from Wisconsin (attending IMG Academy), appears to have some of Cameron Krutwig's game and some of Georgi Bezhanishvili's personality. I'd be happy if we are making a strong push for him. 247 website says we've offered.

Ranked #91 by 247. Not surprising that Iowa and Wisconsin are listed among his top interests.

Fantastic handles for a big boy. First thing that crossed my mind was "imagine him after Fletch bakes off that dough"

Not that I'd complain if it were, but is it either Rodgers or Taylor? Or are they willing/able to play togehther?

Uh yeah. I’m sure they’re terrified.
Lol. Assuming this is sarcasm. Yeah, totally. I'm sure that they loved the fact he visited Illinois and seemingly had a great time and is seriously considering his home state school. No correlation at all that the very next weekend they push to get him on campus.

If this wasn't sarcasm than ignore my sarcastic response. If it was, enjoy the sarcasm right back!

Are you even allowed to take an Official Visit before your Sr. year?
Kids can theoretically take 10 officials now if they wanted, 5 junior and 5 senior year. I think the count resets like August 1st or around then.

Very few end up using all of those, of course.
