Did you get some crazy weather down there last night Pru?
yes bro........I have posted 2 -3 times in the old age thread about it........scary , only 25 miles south east of me..........looks like , maybe 50-60 dead in Mayfield from a candle factory being demolished with 110 people working at the time...

Anyone have any updates on Akil Watson being on his visit?

Going to be interesting to see how Ames fares against very stout competition.
Couldn’t go last night because of a birthday party I had to take my daughter to, but I ran by Bartlett High today and caught the Kenwood vs Cane Ridge game (Brandon Miller, top 20 player in on Cane Ridge).
Ames looks good. Movement is smooth. Runs the offense well. Not sure he’s a better true PG than what we’ve got coming already, but could be a nice scoring threat to add to the mix.

Ann Arbor is a great town
And? If students are gone, they aren't getting the college atmosphere. I doubt many recruits care much about arts and culture and local shops and how much easier it is to navigate withe the students gone. I know I didn't when I was 18.

What makes you think the students are all gone? Classes ended Friday and finals begin Monday.

Edit: Classes ended Dec 8 at Illinois for comparison.

And the visit is a week from Tuesday, after finals are finished. There will be a lot of faculty scrambling to finish grades and probably some graduate students. That's about all you'll likely find on campus.

Epps and Rodgers will help next year to solving some of the difficulties we are seeing right now......They are special talents and along with Harris gives me more hope to offset losing TF , DMW , Plummer and probably Kofi next year............

looking ahead is very exciting for me , especially as a tonic for overcoming the loss of a very winnable game yesterday.......I finally am feeling we are at a level of Reloading , instead of Rebuilding ......Rebuilding is too strong of a word really , so maybe plugging gaps with significant upgrades at needed positions.....

Hey , I just did a 420 and groovin on some Summer Walker jams so , take it with a grain of whatever .......peace ...............

Next year will be good in that expectations will have to be reset with so many new playets in rotation.
Can't assume anything, but imagine Cohawk and Curbelo would be the lead players. Payne and Ben VD will need to step up. 3 fresh and 3 sophs likeky impactful as well. We lose a ton of veterans.

I feel confident that Payne and VerDonk will still be viewed as bench players. If not, we are in trouble.

We need a 5. Payne is not an option, and BBV is good for some try hard minutes but he's undersized and does not look comfortable once he gets the ball.

As it stands:

Belo
Hutch
RJ
Goode
Hawkins?

Does Hutch have any eligibility left? If not, slot Rodgers at the 3 and move RJ to 2. Can we pay Kofi like $2M to stay?

Definitely a building year. RJ and Goode have looked good in limited time.

You won’t keep Rogers out of the lineup. He’s everything that Underwood wants in a player.
