Kidding aside..you really need multiple players with pg skills. As we are seeing this year, really only Curbelo and Frazier have those skills and turnovers still occur. A PG group of Epps, Fears, Boswell would be awesome.

If his camp wants assurance that he'll be a starter from the get go, that changes things, no?
Nature of recruitment. And why you shouldn't read too much into anything - especially for prospects that are a long way from even their fall signing period.
Do you think elite recruits, even those going to blue bloods, don't ask for assurances of PT?

Assurance of PT is a bit different than assurance of starting.
Possible, but doubt it. Too many 5/4* on the team to demand a starter spot. But????
However, BU, from what I have read, promises nothing. No idea if it is true, but given Miller's situation, seems it is.
Wonder if there is a stat that tracks how many players have transferred who have started every game as a freshman on a team that became a #1 seed?
At some point we are really going to need a “not his decision”

You give him just 2 weeks and 3 days with Fletch and he'll have him looking like Dwight Howard. Then all that's left to do is find a carpenter to build shelves to hold all the awards.
October 18th (visit)--Boswell becomes top PG priority.
December 19th-BU and staff fly to Ft Myers to see Boswell rather than drive to Lalu to see Fears.
I think it was pretty clear Underwood promised Mark Smith he would start—given that he kept him in that role WAY longer than made sense, before finally doing what we all knew had to be done and benching him.
Likely same promise to Miller who started every game as a freshman.
Probably no coincidence that both were in-state Mr. Basketball recruits.

I go on vacation & miss a couple of days & this is the nonsense going on now? There are no promises. I think about Podz sitting on the bench, not playing much but being the biggest cheerleader while he waits his turn. You want to start? Bust your butt in practice & take the spot. Im close to saying Curbelo should come off the bench when he returns. Very disappointing that Fears recruitment has gone this way. Thanks for the info.
Closer to 6' but has handles & is not afraid to rise up & dunk on you.
If we end up snagging Boswell and JJ Taylor this team will be LOADED with talent! Goode, Podz, and Melendez are gonna be solid by then. Not to mention Epps, Harris, and Rodgers with a year of experience under their belt. Future is just as bright as it was in the early 2000s! Cheers Illini faithful, its been a brutal 15+ years but we are back on the map! Let me add, a senior Coleman Hawkins could be 1 of the best players in the country by then.
Won’t consider them loaded unless there is a Kofi replacement in the mix. Doesn’t have to be the same type but must be a rim protector and an offensive threat down low and on the glass. Don’t see that in this mix.
