We need grandma to say, you take my grandson away from me again, you're cut off. No inheritance, no sweaters, and don't even think of asking me for a Werther's Original. You won't even get a birthday card with 10 bucks in it again.
Remember, kids can attend any high school in Chicago they desire. They also can transfer to any other high school in Chicago that offers the same specialized curriculum their current school offers. It opens things up for recruiting. Its great to see a public HS hold its own against these basketball "academies". We lost something when players abandoned their family friends and home towns to go join these glorified basketball all star schools.
I don't think Glenbard West counts as Chicago.Remember, kids can attend any high school in Chicago they desire. They also can transfer to any other high school in Chicago that offers the same specialized curriculum their current school offers. It opens things up for recruiting.
Do tell, Indy…
First things first, I was glad to hear that Brad & the boys enjoyed a nice meal at The Beef House today. I know they made sure our EveryDay Guys had the right fuel to hand Purdue a big fat L tomorrow. It is one of my favorite places to eat and if you are ever in the area, stop by. You won't regret it!
Now to the real meat and potatoes of this post...
Boswell is nearing a decision is what I am hearing as I stated a little while back, still looking at that early March timeframe but obviously, things are subject to change in recruiting. With the way schedules lined out, he had to visit this weekend. Much easier to get to AZ than CU for a visit and this date just worked best for trying to see a game. He is still planning on taking that AZ visit but if our visit goes well, it will be very hard for him to say no in the end. All of that to say, if everything goes to plan, Brad is taking down not one, but two wildcats this weekend...

Well the Bulls are home on Sat and Mon so there is a good chance he would come down for SundayI realize that getting that final visit is important in several ways...you can take into account the campus setting, training facilities, NIL, fan base, etc etc....but I really think the thing that will sell Boswell or any other 5* recruit is showing him how he's going to be used and fit into your teams immediate plans....show him that he can spend a year or two in O&B and make it to the next level....maybe even a first or second round pick....would be great if Ayo could be available to have a chat with Mr. Boswell this Saturday
Good point the team is on the road the next two weekends. The only other weekend with a home game is the last one on Mar 6th against Iowa. If he wants to wrap it up before March starts this is the only weekend left. Now to the real meat and potatoes of this post...

Dear lord that's roughawesome highlights , but man that floor is messed up big time .................................
That floor look like it's been lined for EVERY sport there is.awesome highlights , but man that floor is messed up big time .................................
But then I guess when you're a Five Star guy, you expect to come in and start regardless where you go.What class is Boswell in, '22 or '23?
Just about everyone coming back to UA, a top five 20-2 team. Even the starting lineup and top reserves.
If he likes that better than competing with other Freshmen and Sophomores for almost limitless minutes....
With that said, I think he be ours.
(... although, it looks like they might need guards.)

And then varnished and polished to a mirror finish. That floor look like it's been lined for EVERY sport there is.
Rodgers, Goode (for the most part), and RJ are not guards. Curbelo is probably not going to be here when Boswell gets here for his freshmen year. This leaves Harris, Podz, and Epps of which two are primarily SGs, not PGs.Guard competition is going to be very competitive
Curbelo
Goode, podz, rj
Rodgers, Epps, Harris
Boswell(?)
Someone (or 2) will decide playing time options will be easier somewhere else.
I am very happy for a visit period. Everytime I see "last visit", my response is that I am still waiting for Sherron Collins to visit after Late Night In the Phog! Like you said, dazzle him, knock his socks off, have an NIL plan, have him sign some autographs, get a chant going, Ayo could help if he is there, then go from there.well damn, Underwood wanted the last visit. He needs to dazzle.
