Pretty darn cool that a suburban public HS gave an all-star private school all they could handle.

Yep really great game. First half was all 3 pointers but then saw more inside game in second half. Lots of solid play from Glenbard and darn near almost beat a team with 3 possible ( 1 almost certain) NBA talents.If West had hit their free throws, it would've been better.

Are there any high school 7 footers out there with similar body type to Kofi? Theres gotta be some kid out in eastern europe, africa, etc. That have the size to be dominant in college basketball like Kofi. I just cant imagine Underwood going back to run and gun, high tempo offense again after watching kofi dominate the past 3 years

Novel idea. Kofi's kind of a unicorn. Highly doubt we're gonna get a reasonable facsimile. But that's ok.
There aren’t many guys in the NBA with Kofi’s body type and athleticism. Enjoy him while he’s here. Brad may not want to go back, but he probably won’t have much choice.
If he can get the next group to have the kind of poise and fight with which the current team plays, Illini basketball will be just fine.
Thanks for posting…who is the play-by-play guy? He’s laughably awful (swish! …with the big time dunk!). Why will I not be surprised if it’s DePaul’s guy, that would be about right.

Kevin Washington in 73 for Porta grabbed 27 rebounds against Ridgeway in the Elite Eight game breaking the record Jack Sikma broke the game before for St Anne.
That was one of the better sporting events I’ve been at…. what a effort by Glenbard West.

That looked like an incredible game. Obviously it hurts in the moment but no shame in losing that one either way. Both teams are special.

I've been watching more highlight film about Ames and Boswell. Both look great. I've said it before, but I'd be bummed out if we missed on both of them. I'd gladly take either one. Boswell is simply a born scorer; deadly on threes and with strong handles, able to create and drain his mid-range jumpers.
