This is the direct opposite of what is repeated often by coaches and players who see him every day.
The same coaches who have called everyone in the building elite at one point or another. All tournament teams left him wide open in the half court to help on others. Him and Damonte were brutal

Well, my Illini compadres, we’ve now gone from a next game mentality to a next season build.

Thanks for all the thrills and lessons in perseverance supplied by this year’s group.

Now, let’s look forward to the staff filling some vacancies with a stable of gritty, talented kids who will continue to advance the program to elite status. Some more guard/wing length wouldn’t hurt, either. (y)
I'll see you in the recruiting thread where I'm sure we will encounter some nuanced, levelheaded takes.

I feel like BBV can take his strong performance when Kofi was out and become a starter at a mid major school. It just depends on if he wants that or not.
Unlike a lot of players majoring in sports and recreation or something like that, BBV is a psychology major and I've read somewhere he is close to a straight A student. His motivation and goals may be different than a lot of players. I hope he stays

So, for your case that Hawkins is a low-IQ player, you argue that teams leave him open in the half-court? Um, OK.

Oh, and if folks don’t like how these (I guess, idiot) coaches express positivity w/r/t individual players and try to instill confidence in them - and the same folks feel compelled to insult the players in O & B who work so hard to create a winning team - I don’t really know why they waste their time on a fan forum. If they’re attempting to work out their own personal inadequacies through trashing others who are actually accomplishing something in life, I’d suggest trying a more effective form of therapy.

Have heard it is a real possibility ... Kenny Payne and TA go way back.

Skyy Clark will likely be following TA wherever he goes. Whether that is here or not.

If that happens, there is more to the assistant coach turnover than meets the eye, regardless of how far they go back.
