The same coaches who have called everyone in the building elite at one point or another. All tournament teams left him wide open in the half court to help on others. Him and Damonte were brutalThis is the direct opposite of what is repeated often by coaches and players who see him every day.
I'll see you in the recruiting thread where I'm sure we will encounter some nuanced, levelheaded takes.Well, my Illini compadres, we’ve now gone from a next game mentality to a next season build.
Thanks for all the thrills and lessons in perseverance supplied by this year’s group.
Now, let’s look forward to the staff filling some vacancies with a stable of gritty, talented kids who will continue to advance the program to elite status. Some more guard/wing length wouldn’t hurt, either.
Unlike a lot of players majoring in sports and recreation or something like that, BBV is a psychology major and I've read somewhere he is close to a straight A student. His motivation and goals may be different than a lot of players. I hope he staysI feel like BBV can take his strong performance when Kofi was out and become a starter at a mid major school. It just depends on if he wants that or not.

So, for your case that Hawkins is a low-IQ player, you argue that teams leave him open in the half-court? Um, OK.The same coaches who have called everyone in the building elite at one point or another. All tournament teams left him wide open in the half court to help on others. Him and Damonte were brutal
Ayo should transfer back to the IlliniPosting speculation about which of our student-athletes might/should transfer is really distasteful, and I wish no one would do it here.
More Assistant Coach turnover again this offseason?
I mean anything can happen but Louisville is likely headed for post season ban at some point.More Assistant Coach turnover again this offseason?

Have heard it is a real possibility ... Kenny Payne and TA go way back.
Skyy Clark will likely be following TA wherever he goes. Whether that is here or not.
If money is the issue he will not.We can’t let Louisville poach TA. I’d like to think Josh won’t let that happen.

Uh, we lost all three assistants last year.We can’t let Louisville poach TA. I’d like to think Josh won’t let that happen.
I can only handle so much bad Illini news in one day.You lose TA ... There are going to be some issues with more than just Clark, it would impact Rodgers and Morez in a major way.
Whitman knows this.

Recruiting (of staff) is fluid!I’d say get prepared. Once these things leak they tend to magically happen.
I hope it’s NOT true, but once ‘insiders’ post it here it tends to happen - that is unless we’re talking about recruits committing.
