We need a list of PORTAL talent. Its a new age....Iowa State had 7 players from portal on this years roster. How did they go from 2 wins in 2020-2021, to 21 wins in 2021-2022?

In the event that he foregoes the NBA Draft AND enters the transfer portal, he can pretty much pick his next destination from a list of everyone. What makes people think U of I has the edge? This rumor never made sense to me, but I don't know anything outside of what has been said publicly.
So this thing that I thought was a real long shot I no longer think is a real long shot. Snagging a five star decommit from UK would be the biggest of big boy recruiting. Bravo to the staff if they can pull it off.
Henry did play pretty well for Depaul and spent some time in the NBA.
Yes, small cup, about 20 games, but did not reach top 50 prospect potential while at Illinois.
Glad to see that Whitman is getting business done. It wasn't too long ago that Guenther went scorched earth with Self. Hopefully, we keep TA at least 3 more years before some blue blood offers him a promotion. Same with Chester, although I think he'll be getting P5 job offers in the next year or two

That was a mock ranking of only those players in the NCAA Tourney. It did not include international or G League.
So for our insiders, without naming names, does the staff already know where the available scholarships for Skyy Clark and, presumably, a transfer such as Reeves would come from? Have players that won't be coming back already had discussions about that with the staff?

Would look pretty nice replacing Plummer at the 2 spot.
Reeves doesn't exactly blow me away as a wow, he's going to make a splash type of guy, but he certainly looks worthy of a scholarship and nice to have a Simeon player back on the roster again (if he is the transfer).

Great size and shoots a great percentage from 3 with deep range, although somewhat awkward looking shot. Found this highlight clip from Feb. Not the bounciest athlete but a capable ball-handler that has some ability to drive n make a good pass as well as finish with a floater. Loves the step-back 3 (at least in this game). Kind of disagree, Reeves looks like the type of player we lack. A big guard who can shoot but also drive and create.
His shooting motion from 3 reminds me of Ayo.
