I would say freshman year Skyy looked a lot more like one of the top dogs in his class than the past couple years. I don’t think the injury limits his upside but it will push back his starting point when he gets to campus. Again I think he is 100% a take for Illinois and will develop into a useful player. But giving him the keys day 1 would be an awful decision in my humble opinion. Not trying to give you a hard time, but are you saying he was a five star because he committed to UK, or are there certain flaws in his game that you have observed? I'm very curious.
IDKWTI...can you please explain?
I believe it's required to prove your math. Factorials involved? So about a 79% of getting Miller?
Is my math still good enough to get admitted to Illinois?
That's a damn shame. Hope he gets it figured outMainly the 2nd one
Keep up, internet explorerWho is TSJ and why can’t people stop using these acronyms?
Math wise.... maybe.... close enough?.... 78%.... lolSo about a 79% of getting Miller?

Any possible risk to the program (other than him leaving) as a result of his poor decisions? Or are they all of a personal nature?Mainly the 2nd one

Sometimes the aau club doesn't have as much influence as assumed as well. Not to say we don't have that relationship any longer. I believe TSJ is one of those with a greater family inner circle vs former aau club.TSJ is a Mac Fire kid right? I thought we lost out pipeline to MIF?
Thanks for sharing your observations.Watching him since he was a freshman in high school. His best skill seemed to be his ball handling and ability to get by his primary defender. Never been a great shooter but isn’t necessarily a bad one either. Post injury though he has seemed to gain a lot of weight and as a result lost the step he used to have getting by guys. He has good vision and should be able to develop into a good college guard. But as of day 1, he is not a guy you want running the show.
I doubt it. Think it’s mostly just BeloAny possible risk to the program (other than him leaving) as a result of his poor decisions? Or are they all of a personal nature?
ThanksI doubt it. Think it’s mostly just Belo
It's not truly flat unless you can see the curvature of the earth. LOLLOL. So true. I was there once, for a day. So flat you can see the stadium from miles away.
@illini0440 thanks for the info and active involvement on the board. You make the off-season interesting . . . Even though I wish we were still playing. Thanks again!I doubt it. Think it’s mostly just Belo

Not quite ready to push them all in? Honestly if we are talking a 3 leg parlay they should have at least given you some odds70….if it was just TSJ and Clark….95
Just me or does that statement seem loaded? Maybe reading into it too much. numbers game or a certain someone he may not have meshed with last yearNo. Just depends on open spots. Miller is definitely contingent on people leaving.
Not a chance...maybe Duke, NC,Kty, or the SEC though...don't give up on the dream. So about a 79% of getting Miller?

Really? I thought his highlight clip was about as good as any I have seen. Looked shifty, athletic, and had the ball on a string. I understand the athleticism may still be coming back after the knee injury, but I wouldn't think the handle would leave. What do you see?If Skyy Clark is the primary ball handler next season, Illinois will have a tough year. Hope for a Curbelo return/transfer guard because Skyy is not the player his 5 star rating might suggest.
I think it's more about a current player keeping the spot that Miller might take.Just me or does that statement seem loaded? Maybe reading into it too much. numbers game or a certain someone he may not have meshed with last year
Wouldn't this line of reasoning say that the fans had no influence on Mark Turgeon leaving Maryland? If you think some "fans" caused, or will cause Belo not to come back to the UI , I will disagree strongly. ... It's not the fans fault kids have to be on social media 24/7. It's not the fans "fault" and will have NO influence on what Belo and the staff decide is best for Belo. ...
