looking into him….will probably be in contact but keep at an arms reach…..there are gonna be 400? 500? 600? More players enter the portal in the coming weeks….can be a little picky with the guards

Anybody know if RJ previously had Illini MB and an Illini profile pic in his twitter bio? Because he no longer does, if so. Can't recall one way or the other, but thats been one of my big fears with the Belo transfer.

Even with Belo leaving.... If all the recruits show up, we are still one scholarship short for next year. So, we need at least two more departures before we have an available ride. I suspect we end up with three more players leaving, and we take two off the portal./Or one and one 'new recruit'.

Unrelated to your post, but...

Not sure if you've commented on this, but you seem like the guy to ask. Are there any players that you are comfortable saying you would be shocked if they left? Hard to be certain about anything I guess, but are there some guys you are confident about coming back? Some talk about RJ in relation to Curbelo has me a little curious if people are overly confident about the wrong people.

Goode isn’t going anywhere that’s 100%. I really don’t think RJ is going anywhere but it wouldn’t shock me if Curbelo tried to recruit him to wherever he goes next. All the incoming recruits are locked in. Outside of that I can’t say anyone is 100% a lock to return even though I feel really good about a couple others.

It's was a blast growing up in CU and living at Huff and IMPE several hours a week for about 20 years Mitchell was a great guy as were several of them. My wife actually sold Nick Anderson his first wife's wedding ring at JC Penny! Lol

I used to play with Mike Price pre-IMPE. He would take the four worst (including me!) and beat the five best. A wonderful player and a great guy. Late 60's.

If you want your former team to hate you, trying to steal a promising player away from them is a great way to do it.
