You know the ins and outs far better than I do, but since he never played, I don’t see why last year isnt a straight medical redshirt and he still has his free transfer left? I also think it’s likely he would be granted an exception based on the coaching/ncaa probe regardless. Of course no one know how that would play out for sure.

I’m not sure how that wouldn’t work either….possibly because he practiced with the team, idk though. The ncaa is a weird organization man.

He transferred before the injury. The injury would be irrelevant to the transfer, but not to seasons of eligibility. Because of Wade's problems they will probably give him a waiver. Everyone who committed to KU, LSU, Arizona, L'ville in the last 4 years or so, knew there would be a day of reckoning. I doubt the NCAA will be hard on the players in this age. As we saw with Kofi.....they don't have to answer to anyone, unless the courts and politicians get involved.
