Well, after all they have entered their names in the NBA draft.
Grandison, ok maybe. But Hutch? Kid has no film for the last 3 years and has been riddled with injury.

I love our guys, I really (really) do. But some of this entering our name into the nba draft stuff is a little silly.

Anyways, is this the last pair of departures we can expect? We definitely need a replacement for Grandi - just from a leadership stand point more than anything else.

What does it hurt for those guys to enter their name in the draft?

Pretty much every college basketball player done with college enters their name in the draft, whether they realistically have a shot or not. I think you have to enter the draft to sign with a team. So lets say Hutch's plan is to play abroad and prove himself and maybe sign with an NBA team in the future (like Malcolm Hill). If he enters this draft and goes undrafted, he will be free to sign with an NBA team at any point in the future. That's why it makes sense for him to enter the draft now.

So you have to enter the NBA draft at some point to be able to sign with a team at any point in the future? Genuine question.
