I heard Lieb was gonna start at the 5 and Goode was going to start at the 2, which we all know is Goode's natural position.

Lieb is really more of a 1. He's a point forward type and can cause real matchup problems running the offense.

Out of curiosity (and addiction), do we know when we can expect Nance decision by?

he will go through the NBA evaluation process and likely decide closer to the deadline if he wants to pull out or not. From there, I imagine fairly quickly so that he can enroll at his next school in time for Summer.

If Nance was invited to the NBA Draft Combine in Chicago, then I'd presume it would be after combine concludes on 5/22. Supposedly the invites to combine went out earlier today.

Side question: Is Nance training with Ground Zero training in Chicago? I've seen it alluded to, but never asked/answered directly (admittedly, it's been hard to keep up).

Dain must have shown them a lot more in practice than Omar did inspire of the rave reviews of Omar heading into last season. That's what us concerning about Dain to me us that we haven't seen it and we heard awesome comments before about Omar that just didn't actually happen in games. I am concerned because only Dain is strong enough to deal with some of the B10s 5s. Hawk and Nance can't match up vs some of those big guys. That's why BBV was in there against them and not Hawkins

For sure, undersized guys will struggle to contain elite size, but you know what? That can be okay. How many guys in the world could match up with Kofi, and did Illinois go undefeated? I know you know this, but defense is about denial, not weight class... especially in the unpredictable world of B10 officiating.

Am I the only one high on Luke Goode? I know he's no Bryce Hopkins and demands to start at the 2... But seriously I saw a lot from him last year... And with his size and shooting ability I think he's a got potential to be a 12 ppg+ scorer

I love the talent for our entire freshman class from this past season. I'm really gonna miss Podz!️️
