You had a much cleaner takeaway than I did but this works too.I hear he has a brother named Hiro.

And wasted scholarship? What recruit did we not get because Hutcherson was on scholarship? There aren't enough meaningful minutes to dole out to 13 players. The coaches can afford to roll the dice on a few prospects. A lot of the time they don't pan out, but occasionally they do. The ones that don't get to play can still play an important role as teammates. I don't see that he's done anything to deserve being called "a wasted scholarship".
Right now…..no@illini0440 my prediction now, versus a couple weeks ago, is Hutch stays for next year, assuming we don't somehow bizarrely end up in a scholarship crunch.
True?
Working out in Chicago, eh?
Just no chance that he’d play or he’d rather go somewhere and get more minutes?Right now…..no
What if, purely hypothetically speaking, our insiders at times provide recruiting news via GIFs?Pru is probably a stand up guy. Have Dan make a Gif thread. Idc. But when I’m here for recruiting news, I don’t want to have to sift through 6 pages of gifs. My opinion means squat, though. And this is a free country

Then what?
Wonder who's facility he is working out at...
I don't know, but I guarantee it's in Wicker Park.Wonder who's facility he is working out at...
He’s been in college forever, injured a bunch obviously….rehabbing that’s no fun. Might just want to move on….or give it a go overseasJust no chance that he’d play or he’d rather go somewhere and get more minutes?
Okay, hold on. It could also be in Logan Square.I don't know, but I guarantee it's in Wicker Park.

Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!So the thing is you're asking others to change how they enjoy interacting with this board when you have a number of options you could employ that wouldn't prevent others from their own enjoyment. For example:
1. Big, acutal news gets posted by Dan on the homepage. Maybe check in there first to see if there's actual news.
2. You can follow the insiders you mentioned so you see when they post.
3. Block frequent giffers so you don't have to scroll through their gifs.
Maybe try some combination of those options to see if they improve your experience.
I’m sorry. This belongs in the “I’ve been inconvenienced “ thread.Pru is probably a stand up guy. Have Dan make a Gif thread. Idc. But when I’m here for recruiting news, I don’t want to have to sift through 6 pages of gifs. My opinion means squat, though. And this is a free country

I am fine with that approach and my glass his half full too, however it is just not full of orange Kool aid. Hawk went from 23 to 29 percent this year and was trending the right direction. That's a long way from being where he needs to be or in par with Nance or a threat that the original post implied. Which by the way many posters do. I would be Uber excited if Hawk could evolve into Brian Cook 2.0 as a shooter. He just isn't like Cook or Nance in that regard and at times it's stated that some of are players numbers are better than they really are because we love them and our ILLINI.Nance is the only proven threat for sure but Cohawk was starting to hit them towards the end of the season so hope is there that can become consistent enough to be a guardable threat. Dain is a mystery but certainly seems to have the ability from clips we can see and infamous "practice reports". Hope it plays out where can have 5 on the floor that can hit from deep will be fun to see that kind of line up/style of play.

But he hasn't proven that. I hope he can and quickly. Otherwise this decision to leave is going to have an opportunity cost of hundreds of thousands of dollars over the next two years. I hope he made the correct choice for himself and his family. I fear he didn't and that could be very sad to not take the sure thing. Either way it's his life and I pray to God it works out for him. I didn't want him back because of our team. I know he passed on an amazing opportunity to be millionaire for sure if he had stayed 2 years. At least he was on an amazing path to be set financially for sure for the rest of his life. The Illini Basketball program will be fine regardless. I love Kofi actually have on my King Kofi T shirt now. I'm thankful we had him three years. I just pray he made the right decision to be a wealthy man for sure. Hopefully he did. He certainly made a massive bet on himself. Now let's go add another big man. His hard work and success will help BU do just that. Go Illini. If you have someone Kofi's size who can shoot they would be a #1 overall recruit and draft pick. That's like prime Demarcus Cousins before his injury, Jokic, or Embiid.
I guess your male then.I’m not even the boss in my own home!
Once we get the obligatory tweet or IG post saying "Thank you Illinois fans. Time for the next chapter of my life" from Hutch and Grandy we'll move on. Until then, we'll continue to wonder. Please don't start posts with a seemingly factual statement when you have no knowledge or have read anything from credible sources that say that. I work with that guy....You left out the final, fallback alternative:
