Forgive me. I should have clarified AFTER the K hysteria dies down and these 3 guys go to the NBA, the world will get to see Scheyer's coaching acumen. I guess I am going off of K's coaching tree. That has me stained a bit.
Duke will be OK in the short-term as long as Scheyer runs the program exactly the same way that Coach K ran it, and of course their recruiting isn't slowing down. It's just business as usual for the next few years.

K's tree is indeed questionable. At the same time, Duke has established some high level graft even before NIL. I expect the talent to be higher than Snyder, Collins, Dawkins, et al had ever put together. He's likely to do well, although I don't know how many teams in the 10-25 range in a row their fan base will tolerate.

I'd say that's a solid landing spot, congratulations to Grandison, hope he does well for them!
I get that it’s just marketing… but he had that opportunity here. He opted to go one direction and when that door closed, the door he walked out of also closed. So he had “opportunity” in abundance.
With that said… I truly wish him luck. I don’t want Duke to win, but I hope they lose in spite of Grandy, not because of him.
Feel like Jake made a business decision. Can probably make more in NIL from Duke than playing over seas. It’ll be tough rooting for Duke so I’ll just have to root for him individually.

Thinking that 6'6" guys can't rebound against a team with one 7'0" dude? GTFO.
Tall dudes have an advantage going over the top and usually have more !!! to move an opponent. That bodes well for some of the 20% of rebounds that bounce in their direction, regardless of block-outs. Every other rebound is up for grabs, where standing height is not a big factor.
+1 Great player that really helped the team. I'll root for him but not Duke. Hope his shoulder is 100% and he has a good season*

Jake gave us 3 seasons, sat one year out. Pivotal for breakout last year during that great run. Wish him success on and off the court. Class Act!
