I'd be happy for Grandison if he got a ring. I think he has a good chance to begin the year as a Starter for Duke.

Gran,They have way too much talent to not be really good. Their 2022 class has the #1, 2, and 5 players in the country. These are guys that would likely be playing in the NBA if there were no rules on going from HS. And that’s what their classes generally look like every year. Their talent blows away any of the teams we’ve had in my 40+ years of being a fan.
That said, I do agree with you about the hire. It would have made sense to get someone that’s been a head coach before.
Is Mady Traore from France? Maybe Yohan Traore?Mady Traore? Yes Yes
You had me confused on your first post Noble.Gran,
Forgive me. I should have clarified AFTER the K hysteria dies down and these 3 guys go to the NBA, the world will get to see Scheyer's coaching acumen. I guess I am going off of K's coaching tree. That has me stained a bit.
I saw people on another board recommend he go to D2
No no LolMady Traore? Yes Yes
I'd say that's a solid landing spot, congratulations to Grandison, hope he does well for them!
I get that it’s just marketing… but he had that opportunity here. He opted to go one direction and when that door closed, the door he walked out of also closed. So he had “opportunity” in abundance.
Watch some Miami or Texas Tech game film from last year … Both teams made Sweet 16 …
Especially Tech … Biggest guy on the court 95% of the time is 6’8
Let him do well….unless he plays us
Since it's Duke I'm going out on a limb and predict that he'll get a waiver so that he is eligible next year.
It speaks to the quality of players Underwood and staff are getting. They're not leaving for SIU, they're leaving for Dook.must be living in the twilight zone because i feel surprisingly at peace with a starter of ours transferring to duke. good luck JG
