Illinois Hoops Recruiting Thread

[jjv0004]

GIve me a core of Epps, Amani, Nojus, Morez, JB, Goode, Perrin and Sencire in 2024-2025. SHEESH

Hoping Rodgers still around also. I think possible he hangs around 3 years.

I'm still wondering why Sean Miller is allowed to coach...........................

Hey, check out the wingspan on my new grandson.

Holy Coleman Hawkins! Looks like a Stretch-4 to me. Great length, along with a likely love for the game.

With that wingspan, he needs an NIL site!

Somewhere between 50-100 ...

Until signing with the Beloved...then will drop to 150-175 range

No question, but in this scenario I seeing Rodgers and RJ leaving for the league after another FF run in 2023-2024

He stayed on the correct side of the Dave Bliss line.

I hope those days are over. I always wondered if we were getting the recruits because they were being exposed as over-rated, or other, under-rated people were just passing them. Now we seem to be identifying under-rated talent early, and their ratings rise as others discover them. It may also be that "everyday guys" get lower rankings in general. They are not out there trying to pad their personal stats.

What an odd recruitment. Loved his film this spring when we were into him. If I recall there were some handler/playing time demand issues?

JB to OV Duke on 10/21. Good news is we get last visit unless he extends visits after 8/1/23.

Class of 2040...pay attention Brad! (or will Tyler be HC by then?)

That's a deadly step-back he's got going on there. Reminiscent of DMFW @ Indiana this past season. Nice arc off the release and textbook follow-through. And the net barely moves. Send Tim Anderson to that playroom, stat!!

I want to see him go one on one against Chester’s kid!

Illinois, Michigan and NW are the only 3 BIG teams w/o a 2023 commitment.

If there was any sign of general contentment with the current coaching staff it’s that this message board hasn’t gone nuclear over this fact.

Southpaw as well. Pretty much a lock for us.
