Yeah, he’s just waiting on his commitment because he doesn’t want to see his ranking drop after he signs with us.Southpaw as well. Pretty much a lock for us.

Tom Rucker's dying to call that a walk
Nice crossover...but seems to drag his pivot foot a lot...I thought we were leaning towards bigger guards...? Agree on the nice arc of his shot though.....worth a looksie...lol

Does Illinois need any? Honest question. Roster is full and only two guys will leave. IMHO, BU needs to be looking for guys at the level of Shannon and Mayer....or better if he is going to improve his roster. He can afford to be discerning. And that pick would be perfect in my mind if it were AH....love his game from what I see and read. BU loaded up this past year with very talented underclassmen so no rush to fill roster spots. There is only one ball and they all want it. Slow play is good play right now....get the right guy.Illinois, Michigan and NW are the only 3 BIG teams w/o a 2023 commitment.
BU needs to get his first Natty this year so JW can get him $6.3 million.Across the ESPN ticker...

Around here this makes you a hater.Roster is full and only two guys will leave.
mmm..... not so sure about Melendez and Clark. Going from 81/2 minutes per game to being gone might be a reach. And Clark has yet to play a minute...on a repaired knee. Only sure thing is Mayer. After that, EVERYONE on the team is iffy in this mobile day and age!Around here this makes you a hater.
Mayer, Shannon, Melendez, Hawkins, Clark at a minimum are gone.
I’d put the over/ under at 3.5 on that group.Around here this makes you a hater.

The guy is 67 now. Don't see him sticking around that long.Across the ESPN ticker...

Coach K lasted to 75, I think Roy made it to 70. Boeheim is closing in on 93 (I think). Rick Pitino’s closing in on 70. 72’s not outside the realm of possibility. The guy is 67 now. Don't see him sticking around that long.
Step back jumper is looking good!!!

Larry Brown was head coach at SMU at 75 and is currently assistant coach at Memphis and will be 82 in September.Lou Henson 73
Jim Larranaga will be 73 in October

I’m sure he thinks he has one more final four run in him. Aside from wanting that $31M
This looks like the average age of this board....lol...I'm not terribly far off either...not me but my team....Lou Henson 73
Dunno man, averaging 40.5 minutes a game is pretty impressive, surprised he's not already gone after that!mmm..... not so sure about Melendez and Clark. I think that the next iteration will be NIL agents whispering in players's ears about better deals/ playing time elsewhere.
Gotta keep recruiting pressure going each year... minimum two...Pf and combo/point guard for the Illini.
Get it while you can pal.
I support Izzo like he supported Groce. I think he's well past his prime, and don't fear him/his teams any more. I hope he sticks around (with us whipping him like dog) till he's 100.The guy is 67 now. Don't see him sticking around that long.
My thoughts exactly. Especially with how much more demanding the college basketball world has become. Unless he just recruits out of this world each year I see him MAYBE lasting another year or two before throwing in the towel. The guy is 67 now. Don't see him sticking around that long.
