Morez > JB and quite possibly >>

That said, I want Brown too.

I think Morez is gonna be better as well...obviously these are just kids, but Morez has a higher ceiling, longer and his quick twitch as an athlete could be...elite.

Wingspan... he is going to be a defensive force and if the offense comes around he is an NBA prospect.

I can be wrong, my biggest "miss" was Julian Wright. Had very poor fundamentals as a Sr. Did well in college and was drafted high. But I think those fundamentals stunted his growth.

See Morez as higher ceiling but needs overall developement for todays game of spacing abd switching defense. JB see best attribute if he can develop the inside and outside game. Has ability to dribble as a big.

See Indrus as a Wisky type player that develop ovet 4 years.

St Rita lost. Just couldn't score down the stretch. Can't a high school coach just get some plays off the internet to run? I'm always shocked at how helter skelter high school basketball is.
Serious lack of coaching imo, lack of ball movement, quick terrible shot selections when up about 11 points with approximately 3 minutes left in the game .He looks like a typical AAU coach, just my opinion the team will always going to underachieve as long as he’s coaching that way.

Serious question, how good are their guards? How well do they shoot free throws?

If you can’t get your dudes/FT shooters the ball when the pressure is turned up in a desperation situation for the other team, you’re gonna be in trouble.
St. Rita has a guard who Illinois has offered. Melvin Bell. Unfortunately, he is still recovering from injury and did not play.

Back in the day, Westinghouse had a team with Eddie Johnson and Mark Aguirre, two future college and NBA stalwarts. However, the team lacked good guards and couldn’t get the ball up court in a state tournament loss. Eddie and Aguirre were neutralized.

Reminded me a bit of Morez and Brown last night.

My way back machine is kinda fuzzy, but didn't Westinghouse get beat by St Joe's? My God, they had a great backcourt.

Joliet has two high major guards. Jeremiah had almost 10 rebounds by himself. Yes Rita has Bell, but he is young and I wouldnt call him a ball handler yet. They had more guards. One ended up leaving the team earlier this year. I dont remember the circumstances, but I do remember that the timing wasnt the greatest. Plus all of the aforementioned reasons missed free throws, playcalling, etc. Jamal Thompson will help with some of that. Im very interested in how he helps out the guards. Rita will be tested early. Simeon looms next Saturday night. Good to see Morez and Brown have double doubles, but it was closer to 15 and 10 apiece for them. They will figure it out.
