Speaking of Rita, anything new on Brown? Any closer to a decision date?
I noticed that 6 of the 8 state champions in football in Illinois this year were private high schools. Don't know if that is unusual but it caught my attention. Also noticed that the IHSA awarded those championship games to Illinois State U. for the next five years. We lost out because of the conflict with the Northwestern game in alternate years.
I don't believe they are bound by any school district boundaries, a big advantage
