Baltimore native Chester Frazier has led the way in recruiting Amani Hansberry, and is the reason why the Marylander chose the #Illini. But you'll never guess Amani's favorite part of Champaign: "The one big difference is the sky, the sky is beautiful in Illinois."

Can't wait to see this young man in O&B. Props to Chester for his DC-Baltimore recruiting chops. And Amani's observation about the sky is exactly what struck me when I visited campus for the first time in Sept 1983.

Someone outta take him down to Wood River, Illinois about sunset time…some of the most beautiful, dramatic, almost surreal sunsets I’ve seen anywhere. Thanks Pollution!

Particles in the atmosphere do have that effect. Amani can take a short drive up 95 to just north of Wilmington, Delaware in the Marcus Hook refining cluster south of Philly and enjoy similar sunsets there for the same reason.

Are we sure he didn’t mean “Skyy?”

Are we sure he's not talking about our point guard?
