Joel Goodson
- ties will be resolved
guessing the visit was pretty good:
Obviously he never saw me play in high school. One of the early talent evaluators (name slips my mind) called MJ the best HS player he’d seen since Moses Malone.
Welcome! Interesting comparison and reasoning.Just made an account after being on here for close to a decade. U of I grad 2002.
I think Morez's pro comp/ceiling potential is Joel Embiid. I see KG a little as other's have noted, but Morez's body is much more built as a HS Junior than KG's was. Based on clips I've seen, styles of play are close with Morez shooting the occasional 3 as Embiid does. Obviously, Embiid is a possible future HOF'er and Morez has yet to play a game beyond HS. As such this is only a comparison of body/game style - not saying that Morez will become Embiid. At least that's the logical version of my take.
If I wanted to go full on orange kool-aid, I'd say Morez is a more-athletic Embiid with a shorter neck so no unused height. Did I do that right??
You've done well with your inclusion of neck height. Still to go for Loyalty Bingo are growth plates, camera angle, and a few others...but you have started strong!Just made an account after being on here for close to a decade. U of I grad 2002.

2025. He's 6' 8" now (wing/SG). We offered quite awhile ago. Chester is the lead.
I think this is a good comp actually, probably the best I’ve seen. If his growth players are still open and we measure him in shoes, we might have a stew going.Just made an account after being on here for close to a decade. U of I grad 2002.

I believe this is OE's 3rd year, but the first where graduating seniors will maintain NCAA eligibility. How many years has this overtime elite league been running now? Are there any examples of guys transitioning from OE to good college basketball players?
I'm genuinely curious. Seems like a high chance of some flames outs and many college coaches avoiding the league, but maybe I'm just old school.

Welcome and good first post. You will like it here, not nearly the "snarks" that the other sites have and there are a good amount of "insiders". Dan runs a good site and best of all it's free. Go Illini!!Just made an account after being on here for close to a decade. U of I grad 2002.

As a Vermillion Valley multi-sport player, I often referred to the VV as the Southland Conference of IL as far as competition goes...good night.... vermillion valley, sangamon valley

The University of South Florida is in Tampa. Makes no sense at all. There are many hundreds of miles south and to my knowledge, none of those schools use "south" in the name.As do these other areas North of I-70...

South Chicago (IL)
South Elgin (IL)
South Holland (IL)
