Looks like Curbelo will transfer. And storr.
Ok I might just be completely crazy but if we had a free scholarship I would take Curbelo back.. Of course there would be strings attached per his attitude and he would have a short leash and start at the end of the bench. There is just way to much talent there if someone could reign it in

I love Belo but he's not the profile of what we need at all.

Sorry, but you are completely crazy. This is exactly the kind of baggage we don't need.

If he has shown he can improve his attitude/coachability this year I'd be with you. But he didn't, so I'm not.

I think the Belo ship has sailed and we shouldn't look back. Has a player ever transferred out and back to a school before?

I'd sooner welcome back Bruce Weber as our lead recruiting assistant coach than I would Andre Curbelo to be our lead guard.
Why not both?? Can you imagine Bruce yelling at Andre across the court after he dribbled it off his leg for the 3rd time in the first half?

I mean in football Casey Washington transferred to Wake Forest, played spring ball, then came back here. Wild. Basketball I’m sure, but don’t have a good example.

Yes … But I won’t comment on it until he’s in the portal …
One question for you Indy. How do teams or coaches know that a kid wants to come to your school if he is not yet in them Portal? Are there back room discussions by agents of both the team and the player? Or does the player reach out to schools to get a sense of interest before going in the portal?

Jimmy Whitt returned to Arkansas after going to SMU. Qudus Wahab had a stint at Maryland before returning to Georgetown. payton willis went to Charleston in between his time at minnesota.

All of the above … Just depends on the situation
