If we're going for a big in the portal I would think a proper center would be the target, especially now that Lieb is gone, silly as that may sound.

Tennessee graduate here. If we’re looking for a player who looks great in one game and then lost for two to three games in a row, Nkamhoua is a perfect fit.

If he grabs rebounds like he did n can defend without drop coverage im down.

I am familiar with marketing. I am not in central Illinois so please name me 1 commercial that our BB players have been on to earn their NIL $. They are getting paid to play BB for UI period. I do not think they are helping sell anything with their name, image or likeness. That is just a convenient cover for the powers that be able to say that college BB players are not just getting a salary. What products are our players helping sell. Can you name them for me?

I hope we stay away from the Lieb insults. Was he the most talented player? No but it’s not like he stood us up or was a bad seed. He earned everthing he got IMHO.

The players also do tons of other promotions and events besides commercials. Selling merchandise, signature events, and social media interactions are all part of it too. Saying they aren't actually selling their NIL is pretty far off base.

Wasn't insulting him. Just stating a fact. He earned limited minutes based on his abilities and there are only 13 scholarship spots (plus covid bonus year). It makes sense to have guys on the squad who can contribute. Hopefully he gets to play more in another conference.

Eastern Pennsylvania Downstate Turnpike U grad here (Go Road Rash!). He didn't drop us yet, but I don't think he's coming here as we are a commuter school.

No doubt. But getting a VG mid-major to transfer in (to that role) when lots of programs are dangling a starter role is gonna be a trick. NIL will help. If the kid takes the long view, that will help too. But that's the exception.

Agree, very tough sell. Need NIL plus a sale for an early Edey role or Clingan backing up Sanago. Neither at this point has NBA potential although that’s still possible with Clingan.
