I asked in a previous post but did not get any response but has there been anything from Terrance? Anything at all? I thought he'd take the same route as Coleman has. Maybe they spoke, flipped a coin and said I'll announce first then you wait a week or two and it's your turn?

I am. I hated Jim Edmonds the most of the players on those Cards teams.
I got over it.
Didn’t take my cardinals fan friends long to come around to Willson joining them.
I don't think any of us (Cardinal fans) ever hated Contreras in the first place. There aren't many Cubs players I can remember the Cardinals fans truly hating. I know people weren't too fond of Bryant after his comments about the city, but nothing ever rose to the level of how much Cardinals fans hated, for example, Johnny Cueto.

Honestly, I’m surprised we would even entertain HD, especially after a year in which the coaches struggled to find a way to get massively talented pieces to work together and buy into a culture.

And that’s with guys who weren’t showing up and already working from a net negative like HD. Guys that weren’t known as douche bags/social media terrors/B1G villains. Guys that weren’t considered public enemy #1 by our specific fan base and directly feuded with our fan base. Guys that have an extremely high likelihood of being a cancer in the locker room…etc.

We ran that experiment this past year with neutral transfers coming in…and saw the results. We were predicted to be a top league team with the ability to make a March run and fell well short. I’m just not sure why we would try that all again with HD.

We can’t simply take someone’s average points/rebounds and add it in and wish away the negative variables.

But whatever, it’s BU’s job to make it work. If HD is really in play, I hope it works out for us. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

My dad, a Cubs fan, despised Harry Caray. I'll never forget the first time I heard Harry announcing a Cubs game thinking that it was a good thing my dad was already gone.

Would be the ultimate troll by Hunter...come here, be an AA for one year and hang his name next to Kofi's.

All just to get the last laugh.
I was thinking the ultimate troll would be to lose to Illinois his whole career at Michigan, transfer to Illinois, and then tank the game against Michigan. That kinda dedication would have to be admired.

No one on this past year's roster remotely comes close to "massively talented."

I kinda remember hating Ryne Sandberg for one day in 1984 lol. Contreras was my first choice to replace Yadi as soon as he announced 2022 would be his last season. I have always respected Contreras....and Sandberg.

Hunter is a good basketball player….Brads job is to get good players to win basketball games….
Hmmmmm!!!! You all thought I was crazy....😂😂😂😂

know you all are gonna laugh your a$$es off about this but since someone mentioned Hunter... What are the odds UM fires Howard and Hunter goes into the portal? Maybe we could borrow him for a season. Would be funny... I would take him.

If you don't like the term "massively talented", that's fine. But TSJ was first team all Big Ten and Mayer was third team, so coaches and media disagree with you. If you're considering HD "massively talented", he came in between at second team. All are very talented players.

Since 2016 (when Contreras debuted), Cubs and Cardinals have a head to head record of 62-62. Dead even.
A blip in the timeline of history

"Massively talented" are 1st rounders or lottery picks to me.
Most if not all players in D1 are talented.
It's a subjective phrase.
