Not a chance unless we bring in a big-time talent at PG. Our backcourt next season looks really bad. And in college ball, guards are sort of important.Regardless if he is likable HD makes this team a favorite for Big Ten championship. He is by far the best center available. Dainja while I like him isn't At HD level. Grab him and a real pg will go along way in building for next year. Only have to stand HD for 1 season I can manage that if winning
That's absolutely fair. lol. My first comment on this was in response to some saying that:We're going down a path of nitpicking, but if we want to go down that road, if TSJ played like that for 30 games, we'd have been 30-0, he'd have been BTPOY, a First Team All American and a top 10 draft pick. TSJ is an exceptional player. That's not even in question(to be clear). He was flat out special for those two games, was really good is most others and he was non existent in a handful. He was a microcosm of our season.
On the whole, which I think was the point, he's a very high level player....just not as high as 35-40 others. Fair?
Boo! Not that Illinois had a chance with him.Jameer Nelson Jr to TCU
Coleman shared a Chance McMillan (GCU transfer) video on Insta earlier with “” 44% 3 point shooter last year
That's nice. See you in another 100The cubs also won a World Series and made two league championship series. The cardinals….
Lieb is not going to make money playing basketball. If I were him, I'd be preparing for my career. I'd be looking at Penn, Columbia, Harvard and the like. Let basketball open that door for you.People, please. HD is a very very talented basketball player. Obviously, Brad would be very interested if he wanted to come here. Which he most likely does not. Also, if you think 7ft Lieb (whose practiced against Kofi and Dain and played against Edey ) belongs in D3, then you don’t watch a lot of basketball.
Ivy leave does not allow grad transfers. We’ve been over this. He’s obviously not a pro, but he’s a solid mid/low DI post.Lieb is not going to make money playing basketball. This guy didn't get discussed much. What do you think? 46.7% from 3, 80% FT 5.3 Assists. I'll buy his shirt if it's orange!
95+% of fans wouldn't know Dickinson from a transfer from any other B10 school. Winning fills seats & sells merch. His job, more cynically, is to put butts in seats and sell merchandise. So at some point you have to consider whether a good player is too polarizing.
Who said he is a grad transfer? Haven not seen that published anywhere. Technically he could play two more years by my recollection. He could use a covid year plus his one year of normal eligibility. Might still be able to apply for a redshift for his freshman year.Ivy leave does not allow grad transfers. We’ve been over this. He’s obviously not a pro, but he’s a solid mid/low DI post.
The Cubs will win another WS before the Cards do. Now back on topic, the Illini, as everyone has said, needs a veteran PG who has proved to be able to run a offense, has dribble drive and mostly, be able to make his team mates better making sure our shooters cash get the ball in shooting position. A stretch 5 who can pass from post and can shoot from farther than 2 ft and one additional shooter. We get this, we will contend next year by playing 10 guys double digit minutes while no one gets over 30 a game. That's nice. See you in another 100
Are you serious? If you are paying attention, he’s graduating in May. If you’re not paying attention, Ivy League would NEVER accept an undergrad who had majority of his credits at another school but would get an Ivy degree. I know we all love Illini and don’t mean to be rude, but you need to know the score before you post.Who said he is a grad transfer? Haven not seen that published anywhere. Well, 7 more after that and it's even Steven so keep chipping awayThe Cubs will win another WS before the Cards do.
