Good for you...Agreed. "Everyday guys" is a nice and catchy motto, but I'll take "Great on GameDay" if it means 25+ wins, top 3 in the Big Ten, double bye in the conference tournament and second week in the NCAA, Tournament more 5 out of 10 years.

I’m one of those people, and I’d appreciate not being called dumb. There would be fans that would be upset if Hunter committed here. Those people are dumb.
You take players that make your team the best it possibly can be. Hunter absolutely moves the needle.
Hey, if we win 25+ every year.....it'll be good for you too(assuming you're a fan). Don't think anyone in these parts would disagree?Good for you...
Don't think that we've won 25+ games since 2005? Please correct me if I'm wrong? We were that 2 out of 3 years, sorry not good enough for you...we'll try better....great fan...
In attempting to have a legit conversation with you....Correction...we were successful and won conference title or conference tournament...what's the issue...
Looks like those numbers appear to be from November. Probably came in a couple of early, non-conference games. His whole-season stats are good, but not THAT great. This guy didn't get discussed much. What do you think? 46.7% from 3, 80% FT 5.3 Assists. I'll buy his shirt if it's orange!
Excuse me for presenting my thought. If you could read as well as you smart off, you would see I never mentioned or implied anything about the Ivy League. Additionally I have not seen anything that says he will graduate in May. His announcement only says he will enter the transfer portal. Period! Are you serious? If you are paying attention, he’s graduating in May. If you’re not paying attention, Ivy League would NEVER accept an undergrad who had majority of his credits at another school but would get an Ivy degree. I know we all love Illini and don’t mean to be rude, but you need to know the score before you post.
I know that its alil slow here for actual recruiting news, that's why I love this post...Thank you!!Cole Certa of Bloomington Central Catholic has been named Pantagraph area POY. No surprise there. His high school is about 6 blocks from my house. I've had the pleasure of watching him several times. He's an absolutely lethal 3 pt. shooter with length. There may not be a better shooter from distance in the entire country. And his head is on straight. We want him bad, but so do a boatload of other programs at the highest level. He likes Illinois. It's probably fair to say he wants to wear the orange and blue. We must not let this guy get away. I know Underwood and Alexander have been to many of CC's games. Let's lock him up and the sooner the better.
Just because he won’t be an NBA player doesn’t mean he isn’t a very good college basketball player. He is very talented offensively. And neither Kobe or Jett played in that second round game against Vanderbilt.Hunter is so good that he carried Michigan all the way to the second round of the NIT with the help of only one NBA lottery pick. Give the kid a chance.
The Pantagraph is still around? Man, I used to deliver newspapers for them when I was a kid and it seemed to be going out of business back then!Cole Certa of Bloomington Central Catholic has been named Pantagraph area POY. Yeah, Theo ain’t walking through that door again. Instead we got his coffee guy nowThat's nice. See you in another 100
He's good. Just not the type of player that could lead his team to a second round NIT win over Vanderbilt.Just because he won’t be an NBA player doesn’t mean he isn’t a very good college basketball player. 1. One of our better transfers in recent years, Alfonso Plummer, came from a Utah squad that had just gone 12-13 the prior season.Hunter is so good that he carried Michigan all the way to the second round of the NIT with the help of only one NBA lottery pick. Give the kid a chance.
I don't know what years you are referring to, but it's still alive and well in Bloomington. I read it every morning when eating my breakfast. Awwww, shucks.I know that its alil slow here for actual recruiting news, that's why I love this post...Thank you!!
Michigans issues this year and last have way more to do with Juwan Howard and not so much to do with Hunter DickinsonHunter is so good that he carried Michigan all the way to the second round of the NIT with the help of only one NBA lottery pick. Give the kid a chance.
Hey, that’s awesome and I’m happy it’s still around! Newspapers in general is amazing to see it last as long as it has in our society with everything being digital. A lot of fond (and not fond) memories of delivering papers as a kid, but really awesome first job for a kid outside of mowing lawns.I don't know what years you are referring to, but it's still alive and well in Bloomington.
